Hey its me again, you might know me from
>>39926253. Today I want to tell you about harmboxing. I don't know if anyone had already come up with this (or similar) term before me. I've come up with it while having a lil back-and-forth in
>>39946146.
>What is harmboxing?Basically, harmboxing is the extreme opposite of hugboxing. While hugboxing is defined as validating and cheering up someone while ignoring how bad the situation is, harmboxing would be relentlessly criticizing or demeaning someone while ignoring any positive aspects or context, often under the guise of "the bitter truth", but without constructive intent.
>How is it a bad thing?Just like hugboxing, harmboxing skews your perspective and makes you unable to make proper judgement of the situation at hand. However, harmboxing might turn out to be even worse than hugboxing, because being harmboxed can make you go insane. Your mental health and overall sanity might be as important to your transition as having good genetics and starting early enough, and the polish gretamoder tranny who posted today is a living proof.
>How is this relevant? Here on /tttt/, we have an extreme anti-hugboxing mentality. We see reddit troons as degenerate hugboxers who purposefully make themselves blissfully unaware of reality and we desperately want to affirm that we're not like them. But going from one extreme to the other is not the answer. Would you rather be blissfully unaware or miserably unaware?
