Both her decisions, first ditching Satoko and then taking her back worked on the same mechanism, it's called self-centered pragmatism. If something functions as Satoko, but better, she is fine with accepting it as Satoko, and then when robot got leafed, it can no longer operate as Satoko, so its value drops. Basically Roboko>Satoko>leafs. Oh, and I didn't even mention that she was going to kill Satoko if it didn't end how it ended.
But yeah, Satoko is also dumb egoist, even if slightly less fucked.
