They are griefers, their job is to make the boards not run and chase away traffic until management makes changes they like, assuming that they are not simply being paid to just grief 4chan generally. Lots of people are trying to get Asian media censored or banned in the US right now because JPN/KOR/CN animation, comics, and video games are outselling US/EU works massively and also 4chan is being blamed for helping Trump win due to the mods not allowing it to become reddit. So to a large extend /a/ and /u/ users are just suffering collateral damage from bigger conflicts.
I don't know why they are not in Ave threads other then they don't have a large enough crowd? So in time they will show up? But they will also tailor their message to the thread they are in and they might not have figured a way to do that for that show?
