You could round it down to 500 and it would still make BG3, of all things, one of the biggest F/F fandoms that ever existed back in the day.

They were really badly written, wildly out of character, often borderline unreadable 5k word garbage authored by 14 year olds, because that is who was writing the majority of fanfiction back then. Most Kigo fics aren't Alone, Together. Have you ever tried to find a decent ChellDos or StarRae fic? There are 40,000 Teen Titans fics on
FF.net. When you filter for Raven/Starfire that drops to 48. The two main girls of a five person team have less than 50 fics together out of 40,000 fics.
Don't be an idiot. Why do you think we've had two BG3 threads with very active fanart posting and people only bothering to post the actually great pictures they find, but it took literal years for a Gelphie picture dump thread to hit bump ten years ago with people posting every last low quality scrap of fanart they could scrounge up? Why do you think 19 of the top 20 F/F pairings on Ao3 are from 2010+ and 11 of them are from 2015+? I'll give you a hint, it's not because we were better off for content production back in the day.
