Yes, there was even a chapter one of the MCs was tricking into accepting becoming the girlfriend of the other but it was just to scam a restaurant who had a couples deal, sometime never hide they were gay for each other, but it really isn't the focus of the manga though.

It's not good, compared to her previous serialization it was a big downgrade on every aspect, the character design is good though.

Pixiv extra, but yeah. There's also a side couple, but it's still a far cry from the levels of Hero-san and Former General-san.

The freedom for characters to go back and forth between Earth and the other world just makes it feel like they're playing a video game instead of making it isekai with a twist the way it's written.

Maybe with With From Mercury's success, sometime might turn that Mecha oneshot into a full series.

Guests are not that much of a big deal for Kirara, so it doesn't matter much if the art was incomplete, if it gets the readers attention it's all what matters.

Yeah, this is the reason why some oneshots have so much better art than the serialization, author works for a long time on those, but actually keeping up with the serialization will probably require the author to take some shortcuts and tone down the character design to the more notable aspects.

Then the author probably fucked up and got editorial mad at him or tried to renegotiate his deal with Kirara and it didn't work out.

Some chapters have too many pages, so maybe it's just several small chapters or the editorial really believed on them

It's pretty obvious it's just a case of them not managing to actually draw on time and probably just agreed to give up on it. Doubt they get much leeway when they start drawing half chapter half scribble not even 10 chapters in.

Most yuri magaka have another job which is why monthly yuri manga are half as long (between 20-30 pages per month) as others monthly manga (usually between 40-50 pages per month)

There's very few monthly manga with that length, at most you get a single chapter that long once in a while. 20-30 is pretty standard. Some magazines like Cune or Daioh G also ften have shorter chapters regardless of GL, NL or else.

Just looking at the ToC it seems the majority of series there also fall into the 20-30 range.
It might be easier to look at the volume output. A typical monthly series gets two volumes per year while a faster series will manage 3. 4 is already more in the realm of weekly series.

Most, if not all, of these doujinshi are not porn. Something I really wish I had is the Lonely girl's doujinshi about the side couple. They had barely any focus in the series so I really wanted it but now I only have the volumes missing a chapter that could easily be added during the serialization or as a bonus booklet.
Then there is Himegimitachi that ended in the exact moment they got together and all their life as a couple is relegated to a bunch of doujinshi that could have made a whole extra volume by now, including the ones about the side couple left with no resolution in the series.
Or the KitaKawa doujinshi with side stories from when they were alive. They could've made a "KitaKawa+" midquel.
But in the end I'm just butthurt because getting doujinshi from abroad is a pain in the ass.

The publisher didn't want to, YH only republished manio's doujins now changing the unofficial to official label now that they are digital and have zero costs on their side. The unitary paper costs goes down with more pages, now you add royaltis, shipping and other costs and the profit is just not enough the trouble, of course self published stuff has the author paying for everthing but also taking all the money, so worth for them, if they can sell it.

I don't see why Bad Girl wouldn't count as a yuri series. Yuu is clearly after Atori-senpai.
The Tanuki series seems kind of dead, it hasn't had a chapter in half a year.

the publishers definitely have a say in what series go on sale or get added to the subscription.
The coin-back promotion might be a different story since that's likely something the store covers and they regularly have those for all series.

But why would people criticize it for that? 香原さんのふぇちのーと has a very similar premise and I've never seen people say bad things about it. MM even has an advantage in the yuri department as, even though both MCs are equally gay, it has a girl with a crush on the MC whose feelings are developed and not dismissed like the usual yuri crushes are.

I don't think there's a real way to predict that. Many series have faltered out without any such development and others have come completely out of the left field.

Sure it's not a 100% guarantee and something unexpected can always happen, but I think that there are definitely a few factors that increase the likelihood of a having kiss or romantic relationship. And I've generally had some successes. I was right that the lesbian in Scum's Wish would get a good ending in the epilogue. I was also hopeful for Spec Ops, New Game, and Comic Girls and was rewarded. And to be fair, I've been wrong too about series like Kyuuketsuki-san and Lycoris (never going to live that one down).

But it's fun and harmless, so why not? I'm the only person who seems interested in the topic anyway.

That's just how Kadokawa publishes their mags. Comic Alive also released today and yesterday had Shounen Ace, Comp Ace and Young Dragon Age.
A part of the reason is that ASCII Media Works (Dengeki) and Media Factory (Comic Alive) were independent companies. Comic Cune was a spinoff of Comic Alive so it came out on the same day, similar for the Dengeki mags (including Moeoh which is bimonthly).

The calibre library directory structure will just look like that, and I don't think you can do anything about it. The app should display things properly, and you can export to another directory with the original titles using the Save to disk button.
Make sure you go to Page Setup -> Output profile and select Tablet when converting. The other options will resize the output.

I expect it's also important that mayuzumi's theft of the teacher's phone was likely pivotal in whatever ruckus caused mc to move away (presumably reporting the teacher to authorities, but who knows).

Is 間宮さんといっしょ some kind of hidden masterpiece or something?
I went in expecting some yandere ghost gf yuri to pass time but got one of the most engaging manga I have ever read
It’s insane, there’re no clear plot yet but mostly just the characters chatting while exploring their psychology but it feels their normal words have some kind of magic that absorbs you in, I really like the narrative in this, there’s so much more going on with foreshadowing and you have to connect it yourself
I didn’t get this vibe reading a work since finishing the visual novel
Subahibi/wonderful everyday if anyone knows it
I still have vol3 but I don’t want to finish it. Thanks again for the anon who uploaded this

The heroine's backstory is that she gets to the top by being really good at sex, and then she ends up falling in love with the villainess. So it's not like it comes completely out of left field for the story on the whole, and it isn't like Satanophany where there are graphic depictions that you are supposed to get off to.

If you want to call being a whore female empowerment sure, regardless I agree that the reader took a risk when he accept this premise and continued reading the story, but if you are going to tag your story yuri and suddenly have one of the girls getting "raped" by guys, then of course it's not expected some readers will just see the yuri element as just being too fragile for their interest to remain.

I am not trying to compare the two series, I am just saying that ultimately is up to the reader where the line of what is yuri or what isn't yuri is, personally I don't think that "she just reverse raped guys but it was off screen" is an element most yuri readers would be okay with.

But again, shoujo manga, it's also job of the consumer to know better.

It would be a miracle for it to have a satisfying end, but I want to trust Keyyan since she has never failed me until now.
The story might be incomplete without the extra tankoubon chapter that might be pretty long considering there clearly won't be enough pages to fill a volume with the chapters released.

I actually haven't liked Keyyan's work all that much, so I was surprised how drawn in I was to the later portions of this series. The likely unsatisfying ending will just bring me back to where I started.

A combination of stories that didn't feel very serious and hitting a couple 404 yuri not found pages in the early going made me drop them both. Probably, I just didn't give them a good chance. KimiShira's start didn't impress me either, which is why I was surprised that it got so much more real in the later portions. A lovers' suicide ending would justify my initial impression though.

That said, I do think Keyyan is talented, so I hope the meme that KimiShira is a reflection of their mental state is just a meme.
