>>1798558Once I did romance her, and it was plain fucking awful. No other way to put it.
For starter, I agree with the "elfy" things. But I mean, what the fucking hell? According to the backstory, she is part of the "people", lived in the alienage and we all know what kind of places those are. And she'd still choose the racist humans over her own? And it's not like the other elves cast her aside: more like she went outside her own community and was disappointed at the elven inquisitor when she first met her.
As for the romance itself well..... Let's just say the pubic hairy thing was to stupid I have no words. It really took me a good while to truly understand what the hell had just happened. There are so many well written characters that actually have depth and shades of grey and then there is Sera.
Though I really argue about her role as the comic relief. If so, she's so badly written, almost a textbook example of how something is not to be written. Her jokes are so of full shit shit piss and god knows what. Also her personal mission where we ended up killing that noble after he killed Sera's friends? I never had a clue about what the hell is going on and the killing itself made me cast Sera out of the team. Just no.
What Josephine's romance lacked was the intimacy. No sex scene, it sounded too much like a Republican party sex ed video. Holding hands and some cuddling but actual lovemaking? No-no. So she remains a twistant girlfriend and that's how boring she is.
I'd like her to be somewhat more noble. Or elegant. I expected some Spanish Empire era noble woman, who knows all the dirty secrets, can seduce just about anyone and really gets around without ever losing her royal mask. And did I get? A disney princess next door. Okey yeah, she's good in the Game and have killed a man, but I expected some more attitude. Now they tell us about her, they don't show. I would have liked to see her getting her hands dirty, not just hear about her wild youth.
