Luckily for her, Po is well accustomed to finding reasons to celebrate. Often times the latter, as in making a successful conquest, ends up leading to the former. Based on her friendship with Lithium, maybe her joining the council was something that only happened more recently. For either her or Lith.

I'm kind of stumped on why Po's there beyond being another government person and position.
Po is the head of a governmental (infrastructure) department that is probably connected to their provincial and national equivalents. Such a position could give Prase an ear for the government side on an informal level since Po could have meetings with other department heads. In effect, that should mean she's in Prase corner since they're both governmental and could help steer things while Prase is playing mediator.
Thinking on this has had me realizing that out of about everyone on the current city council; only Prase and Lithium probably expected to be on the council. Prase because she's the mayor and it's expected, yet Lithium's interesting. Being the daughter of a zaibatsu-equivalent, she very likely grew up expecting to be involved in local politics and running the Alkali business, so in her mind it's probably expected. That said it's probably notable that Lith's less involved with the local community compared to her mothers or grandmothers, perhaps she views the council as doing enough to fulfill those obligations initially.

If we wanted to, we could say that Prase was the one who invited her to be a member originally. All that wining and dining she's done does wonders to build up connections. If Krypton and Mithril are the two most recent members of the city council respectively, it stands to reason that (in retrospect) Lithium would be the third newest after them, considering Po's longtime working relationship with Prase. Such a line of thinking could've been what drew her to the position in the first place. That, and, kinda, Lithium is the type of person to bury herself in her work at the expense of her own personal relationships. I wonder if that has anything to do with what happened to her spouse/Potassium and Sodium's other mother?

To elaborate a little further on the history of Polonium's hobbies, I more or less always imagined that she originally would have picked up smoking when she was in college, cigarettes at first, partially as a way of relaxing.

I've had a few ideas for card games before but none of them really worked for them to be explicitly "yuri" before. It started as "The joke is pornography, but I'm taking the joke very seriously." The rules have a game system I'd thought about in various incarnations before landing on this. For the amount of time I've put into this little project I'm happy with its current state. I call it "Three's Company." Basic rules are
>shop of neutral "Love Interest" cards that you have to collect stats in various attributes in order to "buy" (Flavored as that girl falling in love with you) first to 3 wins.
>you play character cards (called "Friends") that you can have date one another (But not yourself, they're in your "Friend Zone") to begin farming stat points for you. Color of card border determines which stat- there are 5. Love interests can require points in all 5 stats though not all do.
>you can disrupt your opponent by making their couples break up as well as most of the usual card game interaction points- though lack of a combat system means it's not just another magic clone
The current card pool I've made has 220 cards- including the Love Interests. Whether or not anybody ever actually plays a game of it is largely irrelevant to me, though if it does happen I'd love to have feedback on anything you care to comment on. I plan on making themed mini-expansions just for fun, if there's interest I'll post those when they're done, too.

Yeah, I figured it might make people a bit squeamish if one of the girls is that young. I may give her another year but if it helps the protag for her storyline is not an adult either.

The quick gist is that all four girls are part of an entertainment company; they specialize in different things but the overall place of work is the same so there is some storyline crossover but no romantic line blurring (lets go with A, B, C, D from left to right)
>A is an actress. Plenty of extra roles under her belt, but never the star role. She's paired with an older actress - maybe 9-12 years older than her. This would be the oldest gap.
>B is in the modeling track and you'd play as a designer she works with constantly. (6-7 yrs older)
>C wants to be a TV personality. Her match is a more experienced coworker that has been working with her recently. (5 yrs older)
>D is an idol. One of the teammates in the group is her protag; at most she'd be 19 since you tend to debut girls that are close in age.
Since we haven't written B and D's full stories yet they're the easiest for us to edit thankfuly.

Thanks! Overalls and Pinafore are my personal preference from this group. And we're friends/go to an arts college together. For sure I wouldn't ask just anyone to work on yuri media and especially an age gap one either.

By yuri-normative, I mean the setting has normalised/institutionalized female homosexual relationships.

Questions to ask:

>What kind of setting is this? Sci-fi? Fantasy? Alternate History? Close to real life?
>Are men still around? Regardless of yes or no, what has happened to them? Dead? Turned gay? Etc.
>If men are around, are women the dominant gender or are they equal, or worse, oppressed?
>How did lesbianism become normalized/institutionalized? What happens if a girl identifies as straight?
