>>972962I may or may not do another revision of the folder structure. It really depends if I'm actually motivated to do so. If I was to do it, it would probably take a while as I'll treat it as a pet project while I continue updating the main torrent with the old format. I'm just so fucking lazy.
Pic related is kinda what I want. I want to trim off some space but at the same time I want it to be easy to see.
- Artist hangul name is removed. Doesn't really add anything unless you're Korean and don't know the English name.
- The actual file name is shorter by no longer having album name included in the file since it's inclusion is redundant. It's removal increases the chances if file clashes if it's taken out of the designated folder.
- Bit depth and sample rate are swapped to make more sense
- The folder name is kinda compact but artist name and album is still clear. I'm debating whether the codec should be included or not. It might be useful for lossy audio since it could be MP3 or AAC.
- I'm also debating if album artist should even be included in the folder name. It would significantly reduce the file path length, but if the folder itself was removed from it's designated spot, it may be difficult to identify artist unless the user looks at the the metadata.
A part of me wants to significantly change the folder name to: [
YYYY.MM.DD]AlbumName[Codec-BitDepth-SampleRate] since the music player does most of the job anyways so I don't even see the folder name often.
Feel free to chime in with your suggestions. I'm not too well versed with this kind of stuff.
