>>34042893>what the fuck does>6. No contactfagging.>7. No signfagging.>mean?6. Do not request (or provide) contact info.
Remember that /soc/ is older than smartphones and social media, so "contact info" would've been things that were, at most, one step from doxxing. Basically, there was a very high probability that anyone posting that sort of info was posting someone else's. It's easier to have a blanket ban on the behavior. Things have obviously changed, half the catalog is contactfag threads, so it mostly just applies to contactfagging OUTSIDE of the contactfag threads.
7. Asking people to write something on a piece of paper (or their body) and take a picture of it.
Basically, retards would forget (or never learn) that proper compliance with "Tits or GTFO" did not turn any thread with a GOTI into a horny request thread (unless that's why she started it).
>>34042947>The alt-right was never a real thing.Eh. It was basically all the people of the mid-2010s tired of both the "social justice" bigotry AND the fiscal irresponsibility of the forever wars.
The name that caught on within that discussion was "alt-right".
It never had anything to do with Richard Spencer. The legacy media elevated that dude and gave him a platform in an attempt to sideline the "alt-right" by associating it with a useful idiot, and leave the forming populist movement without a cohesive identity.
They had previously done this with Occupy and Tea Party.
At this point, actual people who agreed with the dissatisfaction, if not necessarily the proposed solutions, seem to have mostly collected under "MAGA" at this point.
Unfortunately.
