Though unlike ethnicity, "race" is less biologically & more socially defined, however that doesn't change the 'core' message.
Obviously as the grouping of peoples becomes larger & more abstract, the edges become fuzzier. Doesn't change the actual meaning being conveyed, "race" does not have to be a discrete category to exist and convey meaningful, relevant ideas.
