Set your profile so your age is 40+. You will likely get banned at some point for doing this, but just be aware. Your success rate will be 10x higher, so no way around it.
It's a numbers game. You'll probably have low success at first, but my formula was always sending "hey beautiful :) how's your day so far?" When they respond, answer whatever they might ask and immediately in another message say "have you ever dated younger?" Whatever they respond just say "I'm *25* (or whatever your real age might be), I typically date older women."
Most women will respond some iteration of "I've dated younger before" or "you lied in your profile", this is when you respond with "sorry I'm not trying to lie, it's just that the app won't show me women in my preferred range unless I push my age up.
