>>21957801> make up, most of these chicks are doing minimal makeup outside of raccoon eyes where as modern make up trends are based around the ugly, manly kardashian women using the same tricks as drag queens to hide their manish features, it makes modern chicks look like trannies, that big drag queen cheek streak. That dark skid mark on either side of their face.> most of these girls had no exercise regimen or diet plan they had a good metabolism or skipped meals meaning they were soft like women aught to be but not obese like low effort sows today.I chalk it up to these plus the fashion. I don't know what you'd call that tanktop-and-short-shorts look but it was slutty (and hot) as hell. Compare that to modern women whose idea of dressing slutty is what, dressing like they're at the gym? It's always about the gym with these people.
As for what made emo/scene so hot, I think it's the bright and contrasting colors. Really drew attention to them and made them look better than they already were. Also there was something about all those bracelets and wristbands they wore. Or maybe I just have a hand fetish. I don't know.
I think the reason why a lot of these women were skinny was not just because they didn't eat like shit, but because people still went out and did things back then. Malls, skate parks, concerts, etc. It was enough to get you some half-decent exercise.
