Outside of a convention, movie role or Halloween, if you cosplay as a SFW vampire then you've got issues. One of my friends learned that the hard way so that I wouldn't have to. Besides, I think it finally fell out of favor with most woman by the early 2010s after everyone stopped hyperventilating that we were past the year 2000 and weren't living in a dystopian cyberpunk/Tokyo world (which was the other major goth influence; Don't ask me, I'm not an influencer).
