Also 4chan had more tolerance for mainstream beauty standards. Like there were milf threads back then, but guys into 30-40 year olds didn't shit up 20 something threads just to destroy anything that wasn't their thing. Lots of lesbian threads, without shitting up from "they're not real lesbians" or "if you like lesbians you're gay" or shit like you get now. These days it's more about shitting up threads for stuff you don't like rather than posting stuff you do like.
It's all extreme. Fattie threads, skelly threads, but few threads with just slender, healthy, conventionally hot girls.
tl;Dr: in the 90s and 00s, porn chicks tried hard to look normal. In the 10s and 20s, normal chicks try to look like 3rd world streetwalkers.
