Guys, when was the last time you actually saw a girl with long hair like we see here?
Perhaps it was rare, but longer hair was more common some time ago. It's an absolutely beautiful trait I must say. If I were born a bit gayer, I'd have become a hairdresser because I love hair so much, especially women's hair, and though I love the fads of shoulder length hair I've seen the last few years -- especially when there is intention behind creating the mystique with those well-placed strands, and effort put into subtly shaping the form of the hair -- but those are very rare cases and more often it just looks bland, doesn't fall into a particularly pleasing form. Usually because the hair is shorter than shoulder length and for some reason loses all that quality.
Also, disgustingly dyed hair everywhere. All the girls, and even stupid fellas, get the blob on their head all done in candy colour, or ugly radioactive-looking streaks. It reeks of stupidity, attention-seeking, frivolity. You'll also almost never see dyed long hair.
For me, long hair instantly expresses grace and permanence. It's practically antithetical to current hair fashions, and general attitude, that's why you don't see it.
Let us cheers to the rare glimpses we have of truly beautiful hair.
