as a girl let me explain how your statement could make sense
- your gf had a bigger underbust, bra sizes have a number which represents the underbust measure and a letter -the cup size- which represents the difference between bust and underbust, 2 girls could have the same cup size but different tit volume due to differences in underbust measures
- your gf wore incorrectly sized bras, in the US especially a lot of women wear wrongly sized bras due to misinformation and stupid beliefs like the 4inch rule, where you artificially add 4 inches to your underbust measure, resulting in girls getting bras ~2 cups smaller than they should
