Favorite Books in order: Perdito Street Station, The King in Yellow, the annihilation trilogy.
In terms of games Warframe is pretty good and any game with a BIZZARE amount of costumizability like borderlands 3. Pokémon too on a level.

Games: Early arcade or arcade style games. I do play JRPGs. Terranigma is my absolute favourite video game.

Cartoons: Hanna-Barbera 1970s stuff is what I like the best.

Anime: The first Macross series is my favourite.

i don't have any energy to play video games anymore, but the last time i played something that wasn't some old rpgmaker thing it was getting about halfway through xenogears. i should finish it some time but relearning the mechanics and the terrible camera controls sounds like a chore

rosenlicht's analysis book is a billion times better than rudin and saved me a lot of time. not for problems or content itself mind you but rudin's writing style is horrendously dry and unmotivated and i do not care for it

other than that, speaker for the dead by orson scott card. the guy is a raving lunatic nowadays but in the 80s his writing at least had the veneer of progress and pure empathy etched into it - my opinions might be different if i reread it again but the main message of the original ender quartet resonated with me a lot

the first two hyperion books are phenomenal. i shelved rise of endymion 5ish years ago but i might try finishing it if i reread the lot

i finished shimeiji simulation and it's as good as anything else tkmiz has put out, melancholic and hopeful and a bunch of other emotions i can't really describe. i don't go on /a/ anymore but the tkmiz threads with new chapters were always fun
