are you on T?
watch sam sulek or some of the other softer-spoken gymbros on youtube and you can pick up a ton of info on bulking. this includes "theory" as well as food hacks to shove more calories down.
probably /fit/ would be good too.
eat a lot of protein and steadily increase your caloric intake while keeping track of your weight. if you aren't gaining weight, eat more.
stay active and weight train if you can.
the muscles that get stressed during workouts will grow once you are eating enough food.

yeah :/ gaining weight is hard I'm not trying to downplay the struggle.
I had some success with a 10-lb bulk over the winter months and it was crazy difficult to keep eating that much.
the nutrition shakes they give old people were a godsend to fit in-between my normal meals. they are small and usually 350 calories which adds up eventually.
