>>39723931It's not just being yourself. If you feel an itch in the sole of your foot, you don't feel it in every inch of your body.
Personally, I felt uncomfortable looking at myself change during puberty towards a masculine form, and I never felt comfortable in the male social dynamic. I wasn't a girl, I wasn't treated as a girl or looked like a girl, but I yearned for that life. Luckily, I transitioned early, so now I get to live just like any other woman. Sure, I don't have the same genitals as most women, but unless we're fucking, or I'm at a doctor's appointment where my genitals are relevant, I'm a woman in form and function.
Gender is a very major topic for how we function and how we see life, but it's not everything. If I was playing vidya or reading a book or doing any other activity that let me focus on something other than myself, I could feel fine. But escapism isn't a way to properly live. If you're thinking about trooning and you're really unsure, maybe talk to a psychiatrist who knows their shit.
