Yes Estrogen has increased my social status through giving me better looks. I was post walled and just another guy but I started taking estrogen and my looks improved and so did my attention I get from other guys.
If I didn't start estrogen my boyfriend would never have dated me and he admitted it himself. I look so much better now.
But yes, people take cross-sex hormones PRIMARILY to fix their looks. Done properly this does also increase the social status.
