It’s so bizarre to me, because Canada is one of the few counties that I believe does social progressiveness really well. It’s the only settler-colonial state which has a strong movement to recognize indigenous history. Progressive spaces actually discussion racism and queerphobia, which barely happens in continental Europe. So it’s so bizarre to me why I’ve met so many Canadian trans girls that think hating Indians is a personality trait. What gives?
