The entire reason Bridget became a bounty hunter was to get rid of the superstition the home village had and free his parents from their guilt of his upbringing. The whole point of the story is that Bridget worked hard and became a good bounty hunter and successfully achieved that.

Bridget never hated being feminine, never felt he was forced as he never resented his upbringing and the whole point of the story in the earlier games was to help his village and parents.
This is why people say the story in strive is grooming because the writing is bad. Bridget just gives up and accepts the way people see him as. In fact, it's literally what you typed with "not having the choice and being forced because society".
