> Do I have to dress/look ambiguous to be Non-Binary You do not!
> Does this mean I’m gay? Your gender is separate from your sexuality! You can look however and like whomever :)
> Will my parents understand? Hopefully! But if not, I am so sorry, and I hope they come around. I personally like to remind them they are already aware of Prince, David Bowie, and the entire 1980’s glam rock scene, and that they probably used to think a gender bendy thing was cool when it was “hip” and that it’s not a big deal, you’re just finding yourself. Yes, you’ll still find someone to marry.
> Will boys think I’m gross? Only the bigots, but even a lot of them will side into your DM’s
> Will the girls think I’m gross Not unless they’re secretly bad people, but even then maybe not. A lot of women find it validating when a masculine person expresses interest in “dumb girl stuff” and they also understand the longing to be able to be like one of the boys or wear certain clothes they normally aren’t allowed to.
> Will I look stupid? It’s ok, you’ll look good. Just like picking out your clothes now there will be stuff you look good in, stuff you don’t, and stuff you think looks bad but other people like to see on you. Once the initial shock wears off you’ll most likely find yourself inspired by your wardrobe in a way you’ve never been before because now you can actually wear the things you want. (Remember, though. You’re just being yourself so you don’t HAVE to if you don’t WANT to.)

Can't tell if I'm a trans girl or actually nb. The biggest thing that confuses me is that I don't like identifying as a woman. I'm certain that I'm not a man, but woman doesn't fit right either. I feel really gross and disgusted with saying that I'm a woman. Right now I prefer to identify as a "trans girl", but I feel like that's too immature. "Trans woman" doesn't feel as wrong to me as "woman" does, but it doesn't feel right either. I don't really know what to identify as now.

I'm gonna try and reverse my cypro dick breakage so I'll be sure to let the general know how that goes but taking any kind of estrogen-type med is gonna affect your dick/fertility to some degree and give you some amount of breast tissue growth
Not sure whether the jury's still out on Powers' estrogen facial cream so maybe look/ask on his subreddit or /hrtgen/ about that for softer skin but a large part of twinkhon aesthetics comes down to bone genetics (specifically, whether you have that kite face shape with the cute tucked-in jaw corners that make your lower face look diminutive)

qott i cant say im one of those fucks whos always known but ive had a lot of detatchment from being male since the beginning of puberty, kind of just considering it a provisional gender that worked until it didnt. about a year ago after i got a crush on another enby it started to didnt, and now my gender is kinda a mess (not that i really present outwardly much, im too shy to buy womens clothes outside the socks even for private). honestly this is probably all just a side effect of the autism. anyway i think i flirted with one of my gay friends while i was drunk.
Anonymous
>>25099778 >not that i really present outwardly much, im too shy to buy womens clothes outside the socks even for private If you know your size in women's clothes, you can get some nice stuff off Amazon just to lounge around in while at home/in private. No need to be shy about it, no one will know.

What changes did you make when you "theyed out"?
I was already on HRT, so no changes there - I think the only things that changed with regards to presentation was pronouns, where I pretty much go by any. A lot of the changes I made otherwise were internal - thinking a bit deeply of what I am (or am not), what gender is like in my life, how it works with others around me, etc.
Anonymous
Hmmm, the first time I changed anything about my gender it was to be non binary. Until I got into a relationship with a really accepting and awesome person, I used they/them 100% of the time. Nowadays, when I'm with her, and when I'm with her only, she calls me feminine terms and uses she/her to refer to me. I'm okay with it, I like it, but I don't feel okay with being called either he/him or she/her with anybody else or in any other situations. I do have to say I quite like doing feminine things with her, but otherwise, I believe I'm pretty well in the middle. I present generally androgynous with a bit of feminine characteristics and a bit of masculine characteristics, and am happy with that. Sounds non-binary/genderfluid enough?

>>25098728 >What made you decide to "they out"? A lot of things, honestly. In no particular order: An absolute fuckton of autism, and mental illness in general. Never felt a particular connection to my maleness. Always had a general desire to be at least somewhat androgynous. General dislike of labels. Very interested in the concept of gender abolitionism. Knew I wasn't cis or het, yet every single LGBT community felt completely alien to me. Have had very extreme desires to become "something else" ever since I was a child. There are probably a few more, but those are the big ones.
>What changes did you make when you "theyed out"? Stopped bothering with trying to use specific labels for myself. Tried using they/them, eventually settled on it/its. Not really related to gender but left almost all of my friend groups and completely wiped my social media presence shortly after I started identifying as NB, so I guess it counts. Started acting a lot more mentally ill in general. Not a lot changed appearance-wise, though that's just because I was already actively changing my body in the way I desired and those desires haven't really changed.
Thing is, I didn't really have a big realization of "oh fuck i'm nb" I always kinda had those desires ever since I was a kid, they just grew naturally and I changed with them. I suppose I'm somewhat lucky in that regard.

I'm new to this board and I think I'm non binary. I'm a male who admires the gender-ambiguous form and aesthetics and want to look more gender neutral but I'm afraid of the long term consequences of something as extreme as HRT. Ideally I'd want to look like Cloud from Final Fantasy or Raiden from Metal Gear Solid 2 but idk if there's a way to adjust my facial structure to look like them.

>idk if there's a way to adjust my facial structure to look like them. I mean, depends a lot on genetics, and what you've already got. Nobody can end up looking some 10/10 anime boy, but people can get at least somewhat close. And the process of getting close is a lot of time, effort, money, and genetics.
I'd say a good starting point for something like that is makeup. Good makeup can make someone look much nicer in many ways without standing out. A whole lot cheaper and easier to acquire than surgery and/or HRT, too. Obviously it's not gonna fix everything, not by a long shot, but I think it's worth learning regardless.

From the very day a person is born they are constantly bombarded with gender roles and expectations and it seeps into every single aspect of life. Almost every system revolving around people is made with gender in mind. And it's been this way for hundreds upon hundreds of years. >>25136666 I mean this is probably gonna sound schizo but sex isn’t actually based on biology, it’s a semi-subjective evaluation of a single rather mutable biological characteristic. You have to have been heavily bluepilled to think otherwise of course, but generally your sex is synonymous with the appearance of your genitalia at birth, or a best guess as to the same, as determined by a single individual. It’s not as compelling as you make it out to be.

not enby but quite curious about how enby anon think. 1. do you think every sexuality inherently include nb? 2. also what do you guys think about mspec/ multispectrum sexuality (like bi lesbian, bi gays, etc). i've seen this topic everywhere but genuinely curious what you guys think. also as nb do you guys have problem with your sexuality or something?
Anonymous
>>25139936 1 Not every non-binary person is included in every sexuality (eg. Can’t be straight and take my gender identity seriously)
2 super obvious that bi lesbians exist, some transmascs try to gatekeep bi lesbianism because they feel insecure in their own masculinity & use literal terf rhetoric to drive out trans men while at the same time implicitly excluding trans women. Fuck hatekeeping terfy transmascs
I used to identify as a bi lesbian, but it’s too annoying and I started dating a trans man who hated blurry identity concepts. These days I ID as a faggotdyke

>>25140035 i dont understand this bi lesbian discourse like, a lot bisex man call themselves gay all the time and no prob from gay community, why suddenly bi women call themselves as dykes/lesbian is world threatening object?
>muh dykes might get bothered by cishet dude bcus bi woman being lesbo is a thing literally fucking blame the predatory het man? why blame bi women. fucking dumb.
and also a lot from ppl who oppose bi lesbian is worshipping goldstar lesbianiam is fucking hilarious. thats how i know this people never interact with IRL dykes, there's a lot of dykes who at some point slept with man. its nothing new & not even secret.
and why recently i see this gatekeeping & biphobia discourse from lesbian community? jesus christ , i dont understand dykes sometime & biphobia is very rampant there too. (there's a lot dykes who wont date bi women just bcause they're bi or something. it just puzzle me)
Anonymous
>>25139936 1. eh not really, i personally dont think monosexual like gay & lesbian include nb. since in their word their main attraction were one gender (gay is men & lesbian is women)
2. interesting & based. if you can deconstruct gender, im sure you deconstruct sexuality too & also its proven many times in history human sexuality is incredibly fluid & not definite.
>>25140035 >>25140150 they should read sapphos of lesbos. sapphos is fucking bi lesbian lmao. Assimilationist is retarded to me , like you cant include homosexuality & lesbianism w/o including bisexuality, kek.
Homosexuality-lesbianism-bisexuality is intertwined to each other no matter how excluschizo deny it.
not saying every human is bi, its been proven many times in many histories that human sexuality is more fluid than people initially think.
label should be used as a tool, not as a master that dictate your identity.
i think the recent gatekeeping movement from lesbian community is because there's a lot radfem & terf who literally fucking hate bisexuality and trannies kek. Nothing new.

>>25140035 i see.
why trans men being excluded? sorry not well versed on this stuff.
>>25140228 sounds about right. my enby friend also say something how theyre uncomfy dating with monosexual people because theyre afraid of being seen as men-lite or woman-lite, and according to them most of the people who insist nb being included in monosex sexuality is dishonest & in reality they always put more binary into nb folk.

>2. also what do you guys think about mspec/ multispectrum sexuality (like bi lesbian, bi gays, etc). People can do what they wish, I think those people are generally pretty cool in pushing the boundaries of what those labels (and in turn experienced sexuality) can mean.

I also dont give a shit with whole sexuality discourse shit because idc abt labels but bi lesbian discourse is honestly annoying because a lot retarded dykes making problem out of nothing & make me bi lesbian supporter kek.
Also there's something ironic and hilarious seeing transbian and transfem enby against bi lesbian, the mental gymnastic & pickme behavior is astounishing.
Just wait until the manhating poli-lesbo & misandrist terf will kick their retarded ass out of lesbian label & community.
Misandrist dykes are fucking menace of lgbt community. I LEGIT absolutely despise them 1000% more than neopronoun xenogender zoomer.

>>25139936 > do you think every sexuality inherently include nb? Yes, if you mean I think a gay, straight, or bi person can all be attracted to an enby. In the same vein I think an enby can't be any of those identities, the available identities are gynephilic, androphilic, asexual, and pansexual
Anonymous
>>25142173 I'm enby and bi, not pan.
I don't like pan as an identity because I'm not attracted to trans masc people, and I think pansexuals don't care about that.
