>>23306331Most important in the first year is that your own hormone production is being suppressed and that your liver is responding ok. Only doc doing HRT is not necessarily a bad sign, they could do it because they actually care.
You can ask for a copy of your blood work and google the parameters. You should see general parameters about your blood, liver, kidney and hormonal parameters, like your testosterone levels.
Nice to have would be total Testosterone, free Testosterone, DHT, but often you just get total Testosterone. You can do calculations to get an estimate of free Testosterone.
http://www.issam.ch/freetesto.htmMake sure that you're in the range like
>>23306455 said and just relax and watch estrogen getting lower at first. If you're in the lower range of T and suspicious it might be too low, look up whether your free Testosterone is ok and if the total Testosterone was measured using immunoassays (cheap, but lacks accuracy in low range) or mass spectrometry (expensive and highly accurate). Testosterone
can show up as 300 ng/dL on an immunoassay test but actually be like 120 ng/dL when measured properly.
If you were on injections you'd have to know about the kinetics of the esters to accurately interpret your T levels. Another plus for gel is that DHT should be good without doing anything (see Dr. Powers presentation, google or ask HRTgen).
Biggest downside of gel is that some people don't absorb medicine well over the skin. If you're in that category and you can't get injections with oils you're not allergic to, black market testogel in the 10% range could work. This is also what I'd use to fraud dose a bit without the doc noticing. But maybe try being legit first and don't get brainwormed.
Anabolic doc on YT is a good source if you want to learn about Testosterone and other roids and can't read scientific literature.
