The thing is, trauma or no trauma, most of the girls who go military are dumb and ugly. Didn't ever really get much attention.
Then, you get a bunch of dumb-ugly dudes who joined because they like call of duty. Probably never really got laid either.
Now, you got ten of those dudes to every girl. Picture a DnD group with one girl. It's like that. Then, you get overseas and there are little to no civilian options.
Those dudes hover around those girls like fly in shit. They are dumb and think they grew into themselves or some shit; and get high on the attention. So, they end up the command bicycle eventually. Because they get bored with the guy or the guy reaches the limit of drama he can listen to.
The girls posted here are the better looking ones. If you're reading about somebody doing crazy shit, remember she probably looks like the girl you find in a DnD group.
That said, women who don't fall into that game have to do 200% the work to be given 50% respect. And, 1 in 4 chance they end up sexually assaulted. Forget the "they make it up to get stateside/out" scuttle bullshit. The investigation shits on them, brass get slaps on the wrist, IDES often shafts them, and then the VA pushes em to the side. Which is why the 1 in 7 dudes getting raped don't fucking say anything.
There's nothing hot in the military that doesn't come with more baggage than you could fit on a fucking battleship.
If you need a uniform, play airsoft.
