Yes, it's true that there are plenty of women in the hentai scene and industry who are authors, creators, and directors for porn and hentai. But you gotta remember one crucial detail to know if piece of hentai or doujin is made by a female, be it cultured or trashy:
1) Is the male attractive, handsome or even cute? Is he a masculine Adonis or a cute pop star boyband idol? Is the man's face and eyes visible through?
2) Is there a focus on the bull's neck/shoulders as well?
Exceptions exist where female mangaka draw disgustingly hideous ogres, but it's in the same perspective as identifying a shoujo/josei.
