>>8509886This depends on jurisdiction. In the US it literally varies state by state with Alaska being the only state where it's legal to marry your aunt or uncle, most allowing full blood cousins to marry, and some allowing incest between consenting adults but obviously not marriage.
France incest is legal in all cases and has been since Napoleon, as far as I'm aware it's the only country in Europe where no incest is criminalized, and Sweden where it's legal to marry a half sibling with a court approval. Most African countries have no laws concerning incest and as explained earlier in Japan first order consanguineous common law marriage is legal but no jurisdiction allows the filing of marriage papers between first order consanguineous couples.
According to the website I posted earlier
>>8509286Which actually explains how to marry your sister in 3 easy steps, incest is technically legal in Japan.
Step 1: Have a wedding. Weddings are not recognized by the country of Japan as a legal proceeding. Only the filing of marriage papers is. So have a wedding why not?
Step 2: Assign your sibling with legal status as holding all rights to your estate and you as theirs, thus giving you all rights a married couple has.
Step 3: Adopt your children when they're born giving you full parental rights over your own children, the only thing Step 2 doesn't cover.
Congrats, you have all the rights a legally married couple has. Since you're also a recognized common law couple your marriage will be protected by the state.
Some other special cases exist around the world. Some countries recognize blood related marriages when the couple was unaware of their relation before marriage. Or Malasia which recognizes marriages between opposite gender twins because according to their culture opposite gender twins are married from birth. Or the Vadoma tribe in Western Africa which ONLY recognizes incestuous marriages and considers non incestuous marriages to be disgusting.
