Hardmods for other UI elements get re-uploaded constantly, check /vg/, not sure if I can recommend now that BepInEx is up. Also they fuck your map labels and some cannot interact with jizou while using those.

Those shouldn't get updated I believe.
One is BepInEx+ always the same auto translator plugin, the other is just more accurate text for the maker in specific. Next we need a port of the UI trans to BepInEx and that's it, you got SVS fully in English but without hardmods.

The links with BepInEx.
Hardmods include the UI but I cannot recommend as they might cause incompatibility with future plugins, and they are already known to have bugs related to not displaying the map labels outside of the Station for some weird reason.

This wouldn't make sense because if that's the case, they just wouldn't display them as actions the player can utilize in the first place, ala AA2's slapping, killing, etc acts that only NPCs could do (unless you used modules to get around that)

According to other anons, you basically just need to catch other characters either masturbating or straight up cheating(?) for the menu to activate apparently. That's just what I've caught anyway.

That's because nobody gave a fuck about HC. Shit had less gameplay than even Koikatsu and a very barebones vanilla maker with maybe a few more sliders but way less clothing, hair etc. Using vanilla as reference for both, of course.
SVS on the other hand is a solid base

BUT
There is no "Sex" button in the menu, you have to load into the game, add the card, manually walk to the character, press like 2 or 3 interaction buttons, then you can have "sex"
But the game has no 3D environments so "sex" is just 2 characters floating in the void, and instead of 3 animations per pose like in older games there's like 1 and a half
Now imagine you're in the process of making a card and want to see how your changes look in action, what would you even do? Shit's absolutely fucked, way more fucked than HC in my opinion

Doesn't have studio yet but it's confirmed to be compatible with HC's one.
Vanilla character maker is mostly the same as KK but with slightly more stuff, such as being able to move/rotate default hair.

Hard disagree, studio is too clunky and requires too much effort over just "pick favorite card->do H" routine i had since KK release

Not as easily as drag and drop, but 90% of the sliders are the same as KK's so you can autistically recreate some of them if there's a card you're fond of that doesn't go too far out of normal bounds. I don't know if the maker's been jailbroken yet to let sliders go below or above the standard limits yet.

60 FPS with stuttering on loading shit. Can drop if the screen is pretty busy. HC ran at perfect 60 for me so you are not likely to get good performance.

It's factually never getting decent mod "support" when it's inherently hostile to modding. Unless someone decompiles the whole thing it'll remain a pain in the ass to write code for. Best single-plugin improvement you can hope for is sideloader.
No one really wants to stick with KK forever, but there doesn't seem to be an alternative on the horizon.

I feel the same as >>8189111 but more optimistic that it will get there in time. SVS having actual gameplay compared to KK:Sunshine of HC should mean it gets a lot of modding attention from the AA2 playerbase, which will naturally include character creator (and later studio) plugins. It might take a while, but AA2 is 10 years old and its modders are still quite active. Something like unlocked sliders feels like an eventuality.

They don't fit theme at all, and game doesn't even have enough generic dresses/hairstyles in first place

The settings were mostly normal yet they kept adding weird fantasy/sci-fi stuff to them anyway.
But in all fairness, they're probably for studio use in most cases anyway. And some people actually made pretty amazing using bits and parts provided by them.
But yeah, they look pretty jarring in the game itself.

Game insta crashes, event viewer shows GameAssembly.dll is at fault but removing winhttp.dll makest the game work again, with internet acces required. Reinstalled the whole game again without bepin autotranlation and the web block still crashes.

HC runs sets my GPU to 100% load at the point I can hear its fans and also CPU ones. My GPU is fixed to 75°C
Just like priority process. But Koikatsu (despite Dx9) runs better and has lower resource usage at similar priority and does not fry my GPU (rarely goes past 70°C)

NPC can blackmail other NPCs, the conditions in general seems to be knowing the other character is cheating either by witnessing it or accepting a bad rumor.
I never had it happen NPC->PC so far, it might require a specific trait.

Okay, so apparently /vg/ is retarded, and the Better Repack is retarded, because the instructions given for installing the damn thing is fucked, as I can't get the thing to launch now, despite easily being able to manually install the game without any repack whatsoever on launch day, partial translation included, including DLC, without so much as a stutter or lost frame in the process.

Now, every time I try to open the exe, it just runs the game in the background without actually opening, and then I have I close it manually in the task manager. ??? I followed the instructions to the fucking letter.

i just noticed that the toki mod hairs most of them have weird shadow maps, if you play with the lamp setting on the editor and lower it the hairs ported will stick like a sore thumb and you will notice the ported hairs in any hour thats not the first hour of the game because the rest of them use different light settings

Blind reduces their detection radius to almost nothing. You can walk a few feet away or just directly behind their back and start making out and they won't notice. It doesn't completely stop them from interruptions but it helps a lot.

Good game that will have every option out of box reduces the chance that user will buy new game, as people start using good games as LTS games(AA2, KK, now in theory SVS if modding will be more documented)

So I've played around a bit yesterday, and can confirm what the other anon said, NPC->PC can happen, I have seen the trigger as a hetero male, and the blackmailer was hetero male as well. Didn't get a chance to see what happens if you select "no", got interrupted (it really is literally unplayable with 24 chars) - would be cool if it lead to instant cheater reputation with partner or a bad rumor.
I've also got a masochist NPC that got blackmailed by 3 other NPCs... 2 of which have high and very high virtue. They did not do any forced lewding on that NPC, but even the mere concept of high virtue character resorting to blackmail sounds so silly

We already have translations, an uncensor and some new assets. If the momentum keeps going then we'll be fine. Also honeycome had mods as well but there wasn't any reason to move over to it instead of koikatsu.

the game def needs more zones, 7 is not enough if you plan on having 12 people, let alone the full 24. Minimum there should be about 16 zones to allow mobs to spread out and actually build something rather than getting interrupted 40 times trying to talk to 1 person if you are playing whore mode.

GameAssembly.dll @ 00C6BF23: E8 08 58 00 00 -> FF 09 FF 41 18

Unlike WebRequestBlocker.dll which completely cuts the game off internet, this disables the DRM check without breaking other online functionality (i.e.card downloads). Don't click TOS in the main menu if you're actually offline because the error it will throw locks UI and you will have to restart the game. Remove WebRequestBlocker.dll if you have it, otherwise this will have no effect.

How to port it to other versions: open the DLL in a hex editor of your choice and search for this array of bytes:
48 8D 4D 8F C7 45 8F FF FF FF FF 48 8B 50 38 48 8B 52 08
You will find 3 matches and the last one will be followed by E8 xx xx 00 00 bytes - overwrite them with FF 09 FF 41 18.

If you don't trust random Chinese DLLs, I was able to get this working using https://pypi.org/project/frida-tools/
basically just run
frida -p <process_id> -l Pov.js

I also tried installing Reshade since the dxgi.dll was in there.

I feel like it's idiotic to be so dismissive of a modding scene so new that the BetterRepack and HF patch only came out yesterday. People are still playing the base game for the first time. HC also didn't even have a reason to figure out modding it other then better looking default characters which is irrelevant when Koikatsu already had thousands of mods to make characters look anyway you wish. SVS actually has a reason for people to put effort into it however.

this is what i dont get, the unity backend is different than the other illusion games and the same as honeycome, which died on release even after they added studio. why would we expect this game to be different? koikatsu modders didnt start working on hc for the graphics even after they released studio for it so why would gameplay change anything? thats like literally the least important thing for people coming from kk. maybe the modding scene will be better than hc if aa2 fans start migrating but probably will be things like ai and personality mods being the focus. it feels pretty joever for people like me that enjoy the gameplay but really are wanting to ditch kk for better graphics will never get the real hard creative tools we need.

Using an imaginary fully modded Honecome studio would be the exact same thing as just using Koikatsu's studio. There was no improvements or changes other then the default characters. It would be a sidegrade not an upgrade. Even in KK circles there are a lot of people who want an anime styled game but with actual gameplay which is SVS. A fully modded SVS would be an massive upgrade from Koikatsu for those people. Koikatsu itself probably won't die for a long time because those studio-onlys have no reason to move to SVS just like they had no reason to move to HC.
I predict that we won't get a full recreation of all the KK mods for SVS, at least not for a long time, but asset modding will probably be made easier. We already have ports at least.

Both answers are "because it's AA2 remake and AA2 did that". Yes, they could have done it in world(it would also render 2 or 3 less high poly models that are straining the GPU), but they didn't because they don't want to improve it and game target audience are AA2 millennials, not KK zoomers
