I was just about to make a physical thread because we hadn't had one in a good fucking while, just happened to search before and found this one. Nice.
Not buying anything from C102 mainly because I'm playing the long game. I started collecting this year and I'm busy catching up with all the shit I want, it's going to take me a good while, but I'll probably buy everything that artists I like release over the years. I have an excel sheet with about 150 artists that I'm interested in, and I'm researching to know what to buy / what to not buy, prioritizing books and making spreadhseets and shit. That goes along with discovering new ones by browsing here, nhentai, panda, and whatnot.
For example,
>>7498319 at a glance I can see that Erect Sawaru, Dekosuke, Tottotonero and Obui are releasing something, I don't even have to read them or even know what the hell they are about beforehand to know that I'll buy them 100% because these are some of my favourite artists.
>1. When as the last time you purchased hentai manga, doujinshi or tapestries?End of May, picrel arrived like two weeks ago or something, I've been sorting and wrapping them in sleeves to protect the corners. Also I need more loli.
>2. What are you most looking forward to?Above
3. Are you satisfied with the current state of doujinshi (i.e everything is gacha shit)
I'd rather artists make things more akin to my tastes but even if it wasn't gachashit, I'm honestly not that up to date with current manga, anime, or games. If it's not because they have a pet show or character (i.e sahara wataru will never make anything that's not Sakura related) artists are more likely to make stuff about popular stuff, so I wasn't going to have context anyways. I don't especially hate NTR so it's not a big deal for me either. If anything the fact that great artists just don't make books and either disappear or just go to the pixiv coal mines forever makes me sadder, but dudes gotta eat.
Thanks for coming to my ted talk.
