Quality 2D animation like Maenchu’s work takes a lot of time and effort even for just short loops like most of these animations are. If it includes voiced dialogue from a good VA it can be expensive as well.

I can’t imagine there’s that much of a profit margin there. I’m guessing the only way they can make it worthwhile is with having a short enough turnaround time with releasing new work to be able to capitalize on the flavor of month and be able to keep enough of a constant stream of new content to keep people interested in their Patreon or whatever other platform rather than just waiting for it to leak for free.

This post is now hilarious to me.

I had a guy just a little bit ago send me a link to Maenchu's Twatter; apparently they got accused of tracing a lot of their work, and a couple weeks ago they came out and confirmed it was true.
I guess that's one way to shorten the turnaround time huh

He's pretty damn good at capturing the art style of the shows he's parodying and is overall a technically great animator but his actual sex scenes are kinda weightless imo.
