Anon, noticed maybe if you had the issue.

You had to create a new class with the new DPM++ 2M SDE, and then assign it to a sampler into modules/samplers_kdiffusion.py.

But on the class, you have to edit
>noise_sampler = K.sampling.BrownianTreeNoiseSampler(x, sigma_min, sigma_max) if noise_sampler is None else noise_sampler

to
>noise_sampler = BrownianTreeNoiseSampler(x, sigma_min, sigma_max) if noise_sampler is None else noise_sampler

and it should work.

So I named them "DPM++ 2M SDE" and "DPM++ 2M SDE Karras"

It is as fast as DPM++ 2M (I guess it makes sense, it is like a 2M v2), here are some comparisons (768x768, batch size 2, upscale 2x, 50 steps)

Seems DPM++ 2M SDE is worse than DPM++ 2M, but DPM++ 2M SDE Karras is pretty impressive.

nah I made that change too. there's several things I have modified in my own local repo that might have been messing with it. I'll try again when the author actually updates the kdiffusion repo since I'm hesitant to try something they call a test anyway. appreciate it though, anon.

I installed git and python as told in the guides, I updated pip but the new update message doesn't go away, I used the installer from the git page for the lora thing, didn't get any explicit error messages, what else do I need? Haven't seen anything about this accelerate module in any of the guides, I assume something is just in the wrong location or has the wrong version.

This is so cool. I can take one of my gens like >>7376097 (not the exact image I used but close), which required a LoRA, and then generate something similar without that LoRA at all. There's a few specific things like the hair shading that didn't really transfer over, but for a one-shot method this is great. reference was good but the addition of adain takes it up a notch.

This was sort of a proof of concept lora, no effort was put in I just indiscriminately downloaded all the artists images with prompts and threw it straight into training. Don't think it will be easy to get good faces with a lora that is trained on snouts and other non-human features. Also seeing a lot of fur texture on clothes and skin

I've updated torch and xformers but now I can't do higher res inpaints because I run out of memory...
anyone facing similar issues?
currently have torch: 2.0.1+cu118 and xformers: 0.0.19 with latest sd branch

I think overall generation speed is slightly faster at least

It does his way of drawing face shapes and tongues fairly well which I think makes sense since I'd consider them the most recognisable part of his drawings, but it also draws some of the most fucked up human feet whenever they show up in an image

With enough images I don't think it'll be much of a problem though. Someone like Personalami who has started branching out to drawing straight furshit still has a fairly distinct artstyle that I imagine should translate into a general-purpose lora fairly easily

If you are planning on simply using it to gen, grab "pruned", you don't need a full model unless you are planning on doing shit like fine-tuning etc
Also avoid "Pickletensor" .ckpt files if you can, safetensors are better

I've found myself returning to euler a a lot recently
I think it started when I wanted to try something else than Karras since I had read that it fried eyes more frequently than other samplers. I ended up liking the lower gen time and more 2D-like look although to be fair that's also very model/prompt dependent

For lora training which factors determine how high/low I should set the dim rank and alpha values? I remember at the start people were primarily using 128/128 or 128/64 but when I look at newer loras I see an increasing amount of people use 64/32 and some times even lower. Some people also still train at 128/64 but end up resizing the lora to 64.
Based on my limited amount of understanding the higher rank/alpha should be for more complex loras (and conversely lower values could be used for something like simple and basic characters for instance) but I'm not really sure what people do to find the optimal values.

With that being said I imagine that a lot of people probably just have some set values they reuse for every lora they make, but I still feel like there's got to be some sort of methodology behind it.

make one perfect gen, train an overfit lora on it, merge last two epochs and downsize to a lower dim
use the resulting lora to gen more images, it won't be very good but it will be usable. lower lora weights when doing i2i to avoid quality loss. retrain when you have about 50 good gens

I think Anything V3 (and Anything V5 made by the same guy) and the various OrangeMixes are the big predecessors for hentai and anime and both of those are derived from novelai's anime model which itself was based on stable diffusion

Which cfg scale do you guys use? I'm testing 5 and 6, and it seems to give decent results. 7 can overfry on some models and some lora combinations it seems.

you only get this error with the NAI VAE. It doesn't matter if it's renamed or tweaked like clearvae. Best way to avoid getting the error or having to use more VRAM is to switch to a functioning VAE

I feel seen. yeah the point was to do something I imagined up a while ago that was kinda obscure. wouldn't it be wild to bind a girl with her own hair? and of course miku has freakishly long hair so it naturally followed. the AI wanted to treat the hair as detached sleeves, a shirt, collar and a ribbon, I made it "understand" by drawing on noise, like stray hair (darker, lighter scribbles) all over the otherwise smooth ribbon like surface of the hair and then pulled in the "hair censor" lora in an attempt to really force the issue.
after a few rolls I got half of it how I wanted, then rolled the other half.
it would be nice to have a lora for every single possible combination of concepts, I'll remain satisfied with what we currently have.

I wanted to stick these up on pixiv too, actually there's a ton of stuff that doesn't go up since I don't want to get caught up in the "looks like this artist" drama that's currently going on. as such only fairly neutral stuff will make the cut. I'd have otherwise uploaded the images to aibooru but they've been rejecting my stuff as well which is not great. anywhere else I could dump these images for longevity?

I often make major errors with the scale of things or perspective, but the more I use AI the more I find myself being able to correct these errors. I don't think I'd ever go as far as studying anatomy, I just want to show some neat stuff and I hope that people look at it and think hey that's neat.

Selfhosting somewhere is the only other option I could think of. I did actually get asked if I want builder rank on aibooru very early on, maybe I should finally take up that offer. Either way you could also try appealing your stuff, often times you just get unlucky with the approvers who see it at that moment (this has happened a lot with stuff I upload to danbooru too).

Euler a isn't so much bad as it is unreliable. Any of the non-a models will eventually converge on a "final" image, where more steps won't change the results at all after a point. Euler a will just keep going and give you vastly different results no matter how many more samples you pile on.

But SDE changes a lot depending of the steps as well, so for those that don't vary much are Euler, DPM++ 2M and DPM++ 2M Karras.

It's really just a fitness scale. Both lower dim and lower alpha will give you less trained loras if the other settings are the same.
Like I said before, I use 128/64 with adapt and then resize. 128 because I like the level of fitness, 64 because I chose it randomly and it didn't break shit, and resize because it makes your lora just better.

I used to write full prompts into Prompt S/R, disable draw legend and let the AI generate a sequence of images.
It was essentially three times the gacha unless you copypasted pre-tested prompts into the S/R but it was surprisingly fun to have it essentially generate a mini story for you

I prefer SDE karras usually, but sometimes I do enjoy the softer and less detailed results Euler A produces. It also tends to do more interesting sceneries meanwhile SDE Karras tends to be more focused on a character, but I'm not really sure how to describe that and that is most likely headcanon bullshit anyway

Technically the new reference preprocessors aren't even ControlNet related. The author just took advantage of the fact they were made a contributor to the repo and had the architecture of an extension available for him to play with, lol. It should be much lighter on VRAM since the only additional piece it stores is a 2nd image as a latent (afaik), not a whole separate model.

Yes some loras clash so weakening the entire prompt blends them at the cost of style. It's just like mixing colors, desaturated shades (closer to grey) go together better at the cost of making the whole picture look dull.

Depends on seed, restarts, warmup steps, scheduler (cosine wouldn't have fully decayed the LR down to 0 in scenario two but would have in scenario one)
If you train on constant with a set seed and the same number of warmup steps then they will be identical, assuming all other settings and dataset are the same.

I already catboxed though, so have an inpaint fail instead. Was trying to combine the "analswimsuit" LoRA with a butt plug Lycoris. The LoRA is only okay though.

Surprisingly only ones I've had interest in (styles I have the most of), and I think the majority aren't even from civitai, tho I realized a fair amount are from huggingface repos which are as simple as a git clone to fetch so there's certainly some junk there. If I was a true hoarder I would've set up some JDownloader configuration like the anon who made the LoRA torrent did to periodically fetch from MEGA folders.

i did a bunch of tests and they were all like this, i'm feeling that bucket steps are another lever you shouldn't pull like no upscale, at least for small features like this. still more tests to go
