I started using VNGE and I want to have my cameras animated when pressing "next". I ticked this box and saved the settings, yet they wont animate. (the animation works if I manually press the "a" button on the SSS)

You need to link each camera to do whatever you need them to perform. each scene has if I'm not wrong up to 5 slots

Try to get some references from discord uploaded scenes to get a gist of how they work.

I can only give you the sequence of actions, it will be a little work for tarters but will open a world of possibilities:

1.Install Next-Gen Skin Shaders and apply it to the character.
2.HS2Graphic - F5 - SSS on
3.HS2_MaterialEditor - VeinsColor and VeinsOpacity
However, this is the way Veins are displayed on the whole body.

Or, you know, just use the Hanmen shaders for the body which has a Vein Opacity slider.

Two ways. Shift+D opens the in-game character editor, there you can change the softness and weight.

Second is to open the HS2PE menu (bottom left), go into Advanced and there will be a tab called "Breasts and physics" or something like that. In there you can directly change the values of how gravity and force.

I have exported the mask wire mesh thing and put the design on there, removed the wire mesh, made it alpha, all that, and I can import it to the mask and make it's colors all right but saving that doesn't seem to save to the card, when I open the outfit in studio it just goes back to being pure white

Bros, i need help. I got Oculus Quest 2 to play HS2 in VR and improve my masturbation experience. The problem is that i get incredibly low FPS playing the VR version. Im sure it's a mod that is fucking up the game. When i switch poses and the girl is talking her line before switching, the fps goes way up making the game look natural, but then it goes to shit again. No, i dont have a shitty PC, its supposed to run good. I will try removing all the mods this afternoon to see if it works better. I've set high performance for the app in windows 11 and it got a bit better but its still shit. I've also tried the lowest settings for the game and tunning down the gpu on the nvidia panel but its still shit. Any ideas? Im desperate, my waifus are so close... VR Kanojo is a shitty game btw.

Okay bros, i tested a few things and i found out, but the solution is stupid. Apparently, HoneySelect 2 VR renders the game twice, one time for the monitor and one time for the headset. When you set the resolution, youre actually selecting the resolution for the monitor, while the resolution for the headset does not ever change, theres no way to do that. If you go nigger mode and set 4K resolution, it will be 4K, but only on your computer screen, the headset resolution will remain the same, so you will fry your GPU for nothing.
>Solution
Go to registry and set screen resolution to a stupidly low resolution (i did 480x480). As i said, the headset wont be affected, you will still see everything in the highest resolution capable of the headset, but the game showing up in your computer screen wont fuck up your shit. My only doubt is what the fuck is happening with this game and airlink, VRChat just shows up and runs perfectly, while HS2 fucks my shit with that gay feature that just waterdrops and fucking make up frames when the headset loses them. Anyway, good enough.

I downlaoded a ton of mods via the auto updater app and now my game takes like 5-10 actual minutes to start up. Studio is a lot quicker but still takes a fair bit
I like making characters and having to wait so long on startup is killing it for me. Is there a quick way to revert this or is it some problematic file I might have got that's taking long to load? Or other steps I can get a better startup?

HS2 is the same in that respect, yep. Cards aren't compatible between the two games though. More positions in HS2 and probably some other stuff. Hs1 has mods to make nice looking animations in studio however but I think those have finally come to HS2 somewhat recently? I haven't had the patience to learn those mods so I can't really speak on this.
AI Girl is probably not what you think it is. It's kind of like a survival game I guess? You really just have to play it or watch video of it. It's not very impressive or fun at all. You might as well mod Skyrim if you want this kind of gameplay. Cards should be fully compatible with HS2.

I think I had that problem along with bonemod resetting when loading a character or not going away on new characters. Try disabling that chara morph thing if it's on. It should be somewhere in the character creation menus.

in the game root folder, there is a file, 'output_log.txt', in there if you search for missing, you will find everything the game reported missing.
Tracking them down after that can be hard, because the names are often useless. as mentioned above, Discord is probably your best bet. After that, f95 maybe.
Some missing might be $$$ mods so prepare your mind for that

Completely new rig.

Here's what I upgraded from and to

GPU: GTX760 -> RTX3070ti
CPU: FX4100 Bulldozer -> i12700k
Ram: 8 gigs 2400 DDR3 (I think?) -> 32 Gigs of 3600 DDR4
HDD -> SSD (This one made the biggest impact on loading, for sure)

All of it was possible through my supporters, and just having that goal waiting for me.
One of the tiers on my Patreon allows my supporters to put in a commission once a month, and the fact that people trust my skills to meet their standards? That honestly blows my mind.

Also, having this den of degenerates really helped as it allowed me to learn some stuff whilst also teaching others.
I never imagined in my wildest dreams that I would be earning money making smut.

Each optional mod should have a readme with it that says how, but I believe they're all just moving the mod folder into the main game folder and letting it write over the existing files.

Hmmmmmmm depends on what your specific definition of good is, auguste is a pretty wide ranging style with their outfits. I can tell you right now if it involves any kind of baggy/loose outfit, no. Taking an inventory of things otherwise, you have:
>no bowler hats but several fedoras/tophats and plenty of hairbands
>no ruffle collars of any kind
>some fluffy/messy hairstyles but nothing actually curly or zany
>no one-piece pajama things or whatever you call them, maybe a couple okay-ish dresses that are somewhat modest, and a few coats
>a couple decent skirts that may or may not be compatible with whatever top, and enough pants to choose from
>any shoe style you could want, but if you want to go the big clown shoe route you're forced to enter deformer hell no matter what
Pic related is something I slapped together in a couple minutes just to give you an idea. Anything more complex like split colored sleeves and mixed patterns etc. will require gimp/photoshop work, along with the face paint, which is more tedious than difficult.

tl;dr yes, but you'll probably have to compromise and jump through some annoying hoops.

It was janky for me due to how shapes and lines warp on the contours of the actual face, but if you have an over/underlay actively loaded you can tab out to photoshop to edit it, and when you save the changes it'll automatically reload it in-game, so it's really just a matter of trial and error. For example, if you could make a bracelet make the body underneath invisible, you could then slightly decrease the radius of said bracelet, then retexture it or otherwise make it look like the end of gloves or thigh highs to make it look like skindentation is occuring there.

I don't suppose there's a way to make it so that a costume card doesn't replace the entire outfit, it only loads into slots that are already blank? In short? Yes, Some clothing coordinates do that thing. Some others actually replace the whole slot configuration.

Why the fuck does this game use so much GPU? I have an RTX 2070S, and this game uses 95-100% of the GPU, and the temperature rises all the way up to 85-90c. I've already set all the settings to low, and the results are the same. Other graphically demanding games usually use 60-70%, like Ghostwire Tokyo and even Doom Eternal doesn't reach 90% with ray-tracing on. Is this just bad optimization or am I missing something?

A lot of people defended HS1 because of the exclusivity of Timeline.

However, that's no longer the case, and I'd almost argue that VNGE's timeline is sufficient to do exactly what Timeline can.

The latter just has MUCH more indepth manipulation, so if you want to get really technical with your animations, that'd be your go to plugin.

But HS1 has a different look to it, and a lot of creators have had much longer to really finetune it to the point where you'd have to be knowledgable on both games to really tell 'em apart.
