I've done plenty of animations but I can't share them because the subject matter would belong to /d/ or /guro/ instead. /d/ needs its own HS general. Really the only reason why I still use HS1 is because Joan hasn't imported the Timeline to HS2 yet. I heard from the /v/ thread that theres some other Timeline tool already in HS2 but I don't know if it works with HSPE or RendererEditor. If it only works with IK points then its not as good.

"Show all Interpolables". You can select multiple nodes from multiple interpolables at once and change and save their state in a bulk. CTRL+click and you can highlight multiple interpolables at once, other handy tool is "select nodes after" and "before which you get by right clicking the interpolable list.

Like their name, they select every single node in selected interpolable that is before or after the red line. So editing every bone at once in the beginning and end of the movement is easy. The shitty part is if theres nodes in between them that you wish to edit, then you have to draw a box or shift-click them all individually.

Notice how those two buttons only work on highlighted interpolables. So i clicked "select nodes before" button and all the nodes to the left of the red line went green. Now I can edit head, neck and both shoulders all at once. Using HSPE along with Timeline is recommended because it allows you to move multiple IK bones at once so you dont have to grab and click each shoulder individually. Just ctrl+click both shoulder buttons green and use the XYZ-sliders to move them both at once.

Going more in detail, HS2 can't be compared to HS2 in options to modify the bodies. You almost can change any property.
...or number of items, maps, hairs, etc, etc.
Or even graphic quality. A mod was included to improve lights and textures.

About the scene I think the mod was one of foolboy's tongues. I found the scene maker himself asking the same question. He made the scene but after reinstalling the game he couldn't identify the mod so he asked for help in discord.
55b linked him the foolboy one and apparently that was it, I doubt it tho... I already have that one and that doesn't seem to be the case.

I don't think asking him directly will amount to anything since he was facing the same issue and for what I could understand from his conversation with 55b the ID on that particular scene is fucked. Maybe when he made it he was using the old resolver or some shit.
I'll try to fix it but if I can't I'm gonna hit him up see if he ever figured out.

Try downloading them all and checking.
If it's any help, the scene being borke indicates its probably old enough that it didn't have hsextsave or something, so probably it's either Tosi, Zurguer or YY.

Yes and no. Installing plugins can be ass because you have to install them in exact right order or something bugs out and you have to start the whole process all over again. Thats the biggest hurdle. After that is done and all the necessary plugins and tools are installed, installing actual mods is as easy as copypasting abdata folder form the zip file straight into HS folder, then pressing one button in the mod compiler tool like ItemResolver. So prepare 3-4 hours for the painful game- and plugin installation progress, after that its just hunting for the mods you like and copypasting them in the same folder.

You can recreate the tongue yourself by two methods.

1) Download a separate tongue mod and then attach it to her mouth like the other anon >>6429335 suggested.

2) Other method is to use HSPE advanced and fiddling with the tongue sliders over there. The tongue can get superlong with HSPE tools alone so you dont always need a separate tongue to do crazy tongues. Unless you're making her swallow a massive cock and still want her tongue to come out.

I believe items only have FK.
You could try using move controller to select more than one FK node at once, so you can "batch rotate" them. I don't know how helpful this is, but I share your pain.
I was trying to use the cock centaur and just gave up.

Thats the main weakness of FK, you can only control one individually. Even HSPE doesn't let you rotate multiple FK bones at once.

What level isn't HS2 at compared to HS1? From what I've seen it has advanced shaders and all that shit, so the girls look better. But I'm still on HS1 because I've spent too much time making scenes and characters that I can't port over to HS2.

You can create it yourself if you have the RendererEditor mod installed. Theres a button called "Dump" in the RendererEditor which takes the selected texture and saves it as a PNG file in Plugins/Renderereditor/Textures folder.

Then simply take the face texture to MSPaint or Photoshop and draw whatever you like on top, save it as a separate file and you can replace the original texture with your own custom ones. I've mainly used it to make different colored gimp-latex masks and degrading body- and facewriting.

3) Press Dump on the face texture and you can have her current face texture saved as a template that you can then freely paint on top.
4)Make sure to save the file as .PNG.

Then simply replace the default texture with your own. If it looks like its too bright for some reason, disable the "bypass sRPG sampling" button and the problem should be fixed.

Rendereditor can be a powerful tool to use. You can basically change color of every part of your character, you can change multiple parts at the same by simply ctrl+clicking multiple parts active and changing the color. 98% clothes have the option to tune their glossiness, so by just changing the sliders you can turn most clothing mods you have into latex versions of themselves.
Some clothes support transparency and some don't, so you can test that out too.
And final last tip, if you want the super-latex/oily skin look for your character, try removing the body- and face glossmap texture while using the Glossiness slider, this makes it so the gloss is a default gloss effect. It makes the skin look less like skin and more like its covered in shiny oil.
So basically you can change almost everything in StudioNeo without having to go back at character creation. Want to turn your favorite girl into a white-haired, blue-skinned elf? You can just do that in Renderereditor, you dont have to go back to Character creator and save a 2nd version of your character. Only thing which is easier to change in Character creation is face makeup and tanlines.

I removed the front and side hair with HSPE bone tools, not with Renderereditor.

Final example to show how some clothing mods can be transparent. Its the same character as the previous images, I recolored all of her hairs and skin colors in a bulk with multiple select body parts, gave her a new outfit and recolored that too. Sometimes removing the main texture can make the recoloring easier, sometimes not. Depends on the clothing.

I made her ears pointy and her corset tighter with the HSPE mod. So combine HSPE and Renderereditor together and you dont have to go back to character creation every single time you want to change something.

I made a new install using the Paste since I hadn't updated the thing since ages ago, but the newest version while loading considerably faster and being smoother has this faded sicklish look on textures.

The blushing is barely noticeable and skin just looks sick-like and overall everything looks super flat and bland.
Lightning settings are exactly the same.
Is this because of the 4K textures? Is there a way to fix it? What am I messing up here?

Looks much better now, seems I didn't install LRE properly the first time and the latest upgrade patch was not installed correctly either.
I never used visual plugins before so I still need to get used to IBL but the differences and possibilities are notorious.

Not easy task. This is my method:
After you have reduced chest size on the creator...
1- Activate the FX for the chest on NeoStudio
and rotate each breast until you see they look frontally more or less as you want.

2- On the advanced mode/Bones search for 'Mune' and try modifying the ones marked. (those are just for the L (left). You also have to change the R ones on that list.)

With the first part you place the pectorals, with the second you make the chest to have volume.

Not a proper solution, but there's nothing better.

You can also use the HS Active Bones to increase the size of the nipples.
