In shop.ks is an inconsistency. Every single other entry uses a [p_]. Consider adapting this in the translation, as it causes the conversation with Sylvie to rapidly jump back to Aurelia.

I was trying to uncomment the hairpins that seemed to be missing, but the last three hairpin options don't have labels yet (and appear to be for the holly, pumpkin, and moon hairpins), while the first three dummied options are tied to the graphics for heart, star, and clover, but the label is for moon, pumpkin, and holly. I COULD redo the labels in the buttons and reimplement these 6 extra hairpins, as well as the kanzashi, but that's outside the scope of my mod.

That said, if TL-kun would like me to work on that as a separate mod/improvement/patch, I can submit that.

I was also hesitant to mess with it since it looks like Ray was in the process of redoing the scripts for them, and he'll probably end up renaming the images as well if he makes them conform to the new label convention he's using. Still, I can use the existing image names for the graphic labels and just adjust the target labels. I'll mock that up soon and throw the patch up before applying it to the voicemod version.

I got the clips working in the shop, though because Ray is currently moving the labels to be such as p_a, p_b, etc... He has heart, star, and clover as d, e, and f, but the graphics are still x1, x2, and x3. Even worse, the labels for moon, pumpkin, and holly are p_x1, p_x2, p_x3... Despite that headache, I decided to quick and dirty point everything to the right place to get it working in shop, and sure enough it works. Graphics display, you can buy them, and Sylvie will give her dialogue. Then I got home and realized I'd have to set up the closet in dress.ks as well to implement it, then threw my hands up. If the labels and image names were right already on Ray's end, I would probably go through with it, but I can't deal with that hassle if Ray's going to get around to it eventually.

I really should have put a "changelog" in the first post. Let's start doing that from now on.

3.0.x doesn't have any content updates from 2.5.2, however the closet system has been redone from the ground up, some UI elements have been improved, and some bug fixes (which are still in-progress on the modders' ends).

Mods that worked on 2.5.2 are currently being ported over, with the main focus right now being the voicemod, which is getting a complete overhaul and improvement from the incomplete and half-hearted 2.5.2 version.

Upon further investigation, I've decided that I'm going to finish the voicemod of shop.ks, and then make a note to work on the shop and dress scripts to reimplement the dummied clothes in a not janky way.

What I mean by this is, using the evidence that Ray is re-itemizing/labeling his clothes, changing the actual filenames of the images to reflect what Ray is converting them to, updating the labels (and reordering them alphabetically) in the scripts, and adjusting the parameters accordingly in the macros that call to populate the UIs in the closet and the shop.

That's much lower priority than my voicemodding, however, as I don't do well when I juggle multiple projects.

The actual translation has me scratching my head though... I feel like the "long striped socks" that you initially buy should be "white stockings with black stripes" and the second striped socks should be "black socks with white stripes", but I'm no translator and that may be out of place for me to say. It just gave me pause, but maybe it's a direct translation and Ray is just retarded, so I don't know.

I've had that for as long as I can remember, but I also noticed that it's the exact same as 02_short. Since that was so long, I probably just decided to make it its own file.

Ideally we keep to the number convention, so just turn _short into _16 and it's all good.

If I remember correctly, the Vietnamese bath mod was also rather incomplete in its previous port. We'd probably have to look at the old 1.9.2 version rather than trying to port over the 2.5.2 wip version.

Consequently, I believe that voicemod clips were used far more extensively in the bath scene, as I believe the voicemod was itself a Vietnamese fan mod. I will be trying my best to give the H scenes, when I get to them, just as much variety in used voice lines.

I'm finally starting on c_text.ks after getting over how daunting it seems, realizing that it's actually rather easy to test since everything is just organized into buttons for you.

It looks like the translation is actually pretty far along. As far as I can tell, the only things pending are:

The bath scene is in "4. wip - mods ported from ichibikun's vietnamese version.zip" in the 2.5.2 mods in the OP. If we're talking about the bath scene specifically then it's fully ported - a few other scenes are not.

Nah, the vietnamese version is a fucking mess of code from different versions of TF jurry-rigged together. The scenes that are in the 2.5.2 wip version are almost fully ported and had to be extensively rewritten, so I really don't recommend trying to port them from the original source.

Just looking over current versions, and there's an issue you fixed at the end of wood.ks in the transition to the H scene, by making the nameplate change to blank when Sylvie isn't talking. However, a [syl] tag is needed to properly return her name to the nameplate when she is talking.

I'm working on date.ks now, and I've even improved the smol Sylvie in market with Ferrum interaction. I've managed to perfectly recreate the "sliding" animation and exact positioning of the two characters as they showed up in the very beginning of the game when Ferrum brings Sylvie to you.

I'll try to do the same with Aurelia.

After that, I want to rewrite all the H scenes, but I feel that may be the most daunting since there's an continuously looping sound effect, and despite the buffer behavior that was supposedly put in, I cannot get sounds to play at the same time without one taking precedence over the other. Ideally, the looping sound would interrupt, or switch to the non-voiced version while the individual voice line plays in conjunction with text, before switching back. Or I'll figure out a way to have the non-voiced loop always going, and when the player isn't actively clicking things, have an occasional random sex voice line thrown in depending on context.

I really need to get up and work on room.ks so I can begin losing sleep over the H scenes.

Actually, this seems silly at this point. Since we can now toggle voicemod on and off for a while, isn't it safe to go ahead and just merge voicemod into the modpack? I'm diffing three times every time there's an update between translation, modpack, and voicemod.

It's making version control a bit of a headache, and I don't see any reason voicemod should conflict with the rest of the modpack. Let's go ahead and merge those two, yeah?

It looks good. Though I tested top=173 (same as Sylvie's) and it looks a bit better. Aurelia still ends up being slightly taller and a little "healthier" in a natural looking way, while she and Sylvie at least seem to be standing on the same level surface compared to top=110. Beyond that small adjustment, this looks better than before. Also thank you for cleaning up some of the inconsistent parameters in the character adjustment macros.

Oop, I did notice something that might be a pain in the ass to adjust. The real-time image update doesn't take being next to smol Sylvie into account, since I guess conditionals would need to be put in the modifications you made. Don't know if it's too much of a headache, but other than that and the top=173 adjustment, loli Aurelia seems fully functional.

Also, going through room.ks and remembering other scripts I modded, Ray sure does love to leave his unfinished shit lying around. Loads of unused conditionals or unused dialogue commented out here and there.

Mostly works. Loli Aurelia is properly sized/positioned when changing setting during the scene with smol Sylvie, but all other Aurelia images (which have the same dimensions and thus offset, I'd guess) appear to be 20 pixels or so above the bottom of the screen, showing the "cut off" at the bottom.

Can we ever get him to get over sekai being retarded and try again with the official english while we're at it? So when I was a teenager I used to hit my CRT display when things didn't go my way in a game. Yes, it was incredibly autistic, I am aware of that, but that's not the point of my story - the point is that at one point the display received enough damage to fold into a simple line at the centre of the screen.

So I kept punching the CRT, and it fixed itself for another couple hours - until another quake would happen and the image would collapse. Then I'd keep punching it until it fixed itself. I would keep this up for about a year until I got a flatscreen.

The point of my story is that you either need to replace that which doesn't work, or keep punching it until it works - if that takes hours of punching, or another couple nukes, then so be it, because that display would run for another fucking year! It's the only way to be sure.

I would buy this game if it was completed and had more content. Love the story when I played the original version and had high hopes that more content would be added in, but it seems the author has slowly distanced himself from the project.

Got tired of the duplicate sound files in different directories (and even one in the same) when trying to decide appropriate voice lines for modding, so I finally just deleted a few. If you care at all to cull the excess, I'm leaving the filenames as-is, but here's the duplicates:

I just noticed that "f.voice_mod_enabled" doesn't seem to be stored in a save file. If you load the game up with voicemod enabled and immediately type "john cena", it doesn't play the voice sound and is just silenced until you disable and re-enable it.

1. Run the game and wait till it shows the menu screen - this may take quite a while, since the game needs to decompress nearly all its data.

3. Run the game and press the "apply patch" button (the bottom left one). The game will now patch itself to the 3.0.22 version.
4. Go to the mega folder from the OP and grab "! Windows - 32bit version of the executable needed for the translation plugin to work properly.zip". Replace the game's executable and the other files with the files from this .zip.
5. Download the translation patch (fix_TF.tpatch) from the same mega folder and path the game with the same method as in points 2 & 3.
6. Optional - you can also install some mods from wip/modpack.tpatch. Same method.

When you want to update the translation patch / mods then just download them, put them in the right place and run the patching once more.

Most of the other H scenes were consolidated so diffing the old with the new would be a nightmare. I haven't touched missional.ks either because I can see just from looking at it that was when I endeavored to do the "proper rewrite" approach I'm doing now on the old version. 100 macros, not worth my energy for a quick patch, I'll just work on it when I sit down to do it properly. For now, people should just be happy that a few H scenes have temporary voicemod support.

I also noticed that the memory2 scenes are using the "normal" cogwheel from non-H / memory scenes, likely due to the change in how H scenes handled the text box and the cog below with 3.0. This causes the cog and options to float above the text box.

For consistency, I might recommend either treating the non-H memories as "normal" scenes with the normal textbox and cogwheel, though this presents us with the current issue of not having a Memories button, or sticking with the current H-scene text boxes and utilizing the new cog, but again, that presents us with irrelevant options...

Assuming there's no three-line dialogues in any of the memories, the most ideal and easy solution would probably be to just replace the current wheel with the H memories one.

I'd like someone to give it some playtesting and try all the different touch/stop branches and even let the looping sounds go for a bit, see if the sound design is good. I'm pretty pleased with it from a frontend and backend perspective, not having some sort of queuing as mentioned above.

I can try. Would a macro like [sound_queue mod="TF/mods/eh/eh_01.ogg, TF/mods/kya/kya_04.ogg" buf=1 ] that behaves like [se_nloop] be what you want?

Also, I saw that you wanted to play a vanilla TF sound, but you couldn't because of how "mod=XXX" works in [se_nloop mod="XXX" ] and had to use [se_nloop st="XXX" ]. I've edited the macros so if you start the "mod" part with "TF/" you'll be able to access the "sounds/TF" folder. Examples:
>[se_loop mod=s-wet2 ] - will play "TF/mods/s-wet2.ogg" just like before the change
>[se_loop mod=TF/s-wet2 ] - will play "TF/s-wet2.ogg"
>[se_loop mod=TF/mods/s-wet2 ] - will play "TF/mods/s-wet2.ogg"

While I was at it I added a new "vol" argument to the [se_nloop] and [se_loop] macros. It controls the volume of the played sound, though you can only make it quieter and not louder. Its range is 0-100. Example: [se_loop mod=s-wet2 vol=50 ]

Lastly, I found out that the l-wetX.ogg sounds from vanilla TF are cut off at exactly 30 sec without any regard for how they sound when you loop them, so I re-looped them (the same goes for the background music which I already re-looped).

That sound_queue macro sounds basically like what I'd be looking for. I was originally thinking it would be nice if, in that rewritten rape for instance, the looping sounds could be made to continue immediately after the non looping sounds. I tried it before by using buf, but same layering issue was happening, and I tried using wait=true, but again, that delayed the script.

As for the modification you made to the mod macro, I actually found I could just use ../s-wet2, and I probably should have stuck with that, but I thought that it was an improvement overall to have the non-voice sounds play in the non voice version. If you think that I should leave the sounds in the voicemod, then I'll use your modification and change those.

I went ahead with the mod= convention and will just leave those poor peasant non-voice users without delightful squishy sounds. I improved rape.ks a bit with Sylvie remaining wet until the end of the day. Don't know if you want to make those modpatch only or what, but I cleared the (repurposed) variable in the appropriate scripts. Updated:

Almost perfect. Regardless loop_last=false, loop_last=true, or absence of parameter, the last sound always loops.

Also, don't worry about a new thread. I've got a post ready to go, and when this one nears the back of the catalog I'll post it with a link in here.

Just tested it, and other than sounds looping that shouldn't, it sounds so much better without the sound layering. If that last little kink is worked out, this is an amazing modification, TransFix Anon.

I'm pretty pleased with how rape.ks and roleplay.ks worked out. I'm pushing the following out for the modpatch update:

What places did you intend to use them? Also, I'm working on putting the new thread up but 4chan's spam filter is being a bitch. Does it prevent too many URLs?
