First VA (Last halloween and dva vid) - Was new to VA work and happy to have the opportunity, did good work at a nice price but after two vids decided she didn't want to do more NSFW stuff. This was fine and the only good experience I've had so far.
So I try to find a replacement for her. I get recommended a subreddit called gonewildaudio. Now I don't have the same hatred of reddit that most here do, but...this was a mistake. 90% of the content was poor, but I found two promising VAs. Skitty and Nightfawn. Skitty was nice but not interested which is fair enough. Nightfawn seemed to be eager to do it...and then stopped replying after I asked for slightly cheaper rates (like 10% off) as my last Halloween vid hit 600k views so would be good advertisement for her stuff. She never replied to anything again, it's as if I shot her dog or something.
Reddit failed me so I turned to what was a last ditch effort. Twitter. Found a VA called HaruMeiji, we agreed a price and I asked how long she'd need to do it. She said 4-5 days because it's a long script. At this point I mentioned it was for Halloween and I gave her a provisional date of 20th October that I'd send her the script. On that date I wasn't finished with it, but sent her a third of it, a second third on the 22nd and the full script on the 25th. She said the length meant it would take multiple days anyway, so I was assuming she'd have 2/3rds done by the 25th giving plenty of time for her to finish it off...right? No. Despite the earlier comment she apparently wanted to do it in one day. So, on the 27th she messages me saying that she won't be able to do it in time. Now this is really shitty, but I was willing to accept a later script because finding somebody else and getting them to do it would take too long regardless. Then she messages me on the 30th saying she's completely unwilling to do it. And that brings us to the present
