I also did download the FAKKU made pack. It's VR.exe files just don't work and I found people talking about them not working 2 years after the release of the FAKKU version and no fix. Basically a black screen with an hourglass appears on the Oculus headset and you have to use the mouse to get to a 3D scene and press M and then you have no fucking controls so it defeats the whole purpose. Plus Oculus controllers aren't supported at all.
I just googled VR mod and found one on github that works, but I get this odd bug where voices in VR play like 4-5x times, making them super fucking loud and it sounds like I'm fucking a horde of women. I don't know if this is VR only, but I'm guessing it is. I'm using some repack made by some random guy so maybe there's bugs in it. Also I can't control the sex speeds at all inside VR even though I see the controllers. I've tried everything but no avail. I think it's because when the VR mod was made there was no Rift S headsets, so the controllers don't have all the key mappings needed.
Also the modpack in the OP mediafire needs premium account to download everything, but the one in the pastebin seems to still work and I noticed it's by ScrewThisNoise who did the amazing repack of Koikatsu. Is there a Honey Select repack by him somewhere? I couldn't find one on nyaa, but I'll keep reading the pastebin incase you guys have already answered this there.

just load your character card into it and you can see the changes you make live in the game
it's still not a great solution since you can only make very minor adjustments before the model starts looking all wonky and most adjustments you make will make 90% of the poses look off

Disable regex if you want a performance boost (however some items will not be translated)
Later on you probably want to do a full fresh install following OP's guide because your installation looks poorly updated. Just transfer your character cards/scenes to the new installation later.

I didn't have this problem with these Cards but Roys mods sometimes fuck up when I install them, I usually delete the mod files from abdata, meaning the mod folders in /chara and /list, you can try and reinstalling them, see if it helps.

That's the whole point of the character maker.
If you use a lre face, use an lre body.
If the skin is glossy, turn down the glossy.
If the makeup shifts around, that's a custom head (Roy12, cuni, 73, xyth, whoever else does custom heads).

What's causing this glitch? Character opens up completely fine in chara maker but becomes this white mannequin mess when I go to the room. Is there a way to make breasts less "wide". What I mean is when a woman will put on clothes or a bra they can not just push up breasts sometimes but more often will compress them together. The sliders in Honey select will allow you to lower the distance or angle but then it will come to a point where the breasts will clip on each other. Making the general size smaller is not the point, the breasts are supposed to be big but just not stick out to the sides as much.

Obviously if you like sharing your creations online or have specific fetishes, it's great that Honey Select comes with something like Studio. But for other cases, the main game is probably just fine.
