I've been pushed away because there's so many artists who just keep doing the same shit, and I'm not talking about the story either, but the sex scenes. So damn many where it's just vaginal sex and maybe a few positions that are pretty common.
If you draw a cute girl I want to see her giving a blowjob, if she has big tits then I want to see some titjobs, etc. I want to see some cumshots that aren't creampies too.
It doesn't to be like that every time, but there's tons of vanilla artists who only draw vaginal sex and nothing else, and that's a complete waste of the more erotic character designs IMO. What's the point of giving a girl big tits, emphasizing them and doing nothing with them?
A recent example I can think of is that Oni girl thing from Mizone. They hyped up her tits for multiple chapters and then we don't get any titfucking when it's her turn. It's wasteful, and to me that just shows a lack of desire to pursue eroticism.
NTR often takes more advantage of foreplay and turning the girl into a sopping mess, so it's often more appealing for the sex scenes.
Unfortunately it seems some NTR in the past year has taken the same route as Vanilla though, and some artists who started drawing NTR this year left behind the Vanilla story but kept the Vanilla sex scenes.
There NEEDS to be variety in your works, otherwise if everything is just a girl getting fucked only in her pussy the only thing you're changing is the appearance of the girl, and at that point it's like all those minus8 flash edits that keep popping up as far as I'm concerned.
I feel like the artists that do this should just stop drawing genitalia in their works so they can pass it off as your typical R-17 ecchi/smut series, instead of squandering good character designs on unrealized R-18 works.
Porn can have a good story, but in the end the sex scenes need to be better.
