>>5559204I don't know who your special discord friend is but PH's big problem is the lack of ported heads, and as somebody who used it extensively, Honeypot is a big hit or miss, saying 70% of the portable content works is being VERY generous, though truth to be told, most of the stuff you'd want to port is pretty garbage at the end of the day so I wouldn't bother with HP to begin with, unless you really want some dress part or some hair, a lot of which has been already ported natively either way.
>All of the fancy Plugin's HS has been getting aren't really used by the majority of PH users anyways. If you want to be really fucking honest most of the utilities for Illusion games are used by an incredibly small circle of people, and in said small circle of people even less can actually use them proficiently, this is just a strawman HS modders(and most modders in general) use to not move their lazy asses.
Look at Joan's advanced IK plugin for HS and try to tell me how many people even know about it, let alone use it proficiently, actually forget about it, most of the HS userbase barely even uses basic studio functionalities like lights.
Truth is, what propelled HS to the place it is now were Roy's DoA ports, hardly anyone gives a fuck about anything else, most people don't even have IBL installed and still struggle to install it properly to this day, PH and KK aren't any different in terms of userbase, and KK is especially embarassing also when it comes to mods considering its current state.
When it comes to this game, the problem will be the main content, if this is another shitshow like KK with barely anything and another butchered Studio I can already see the HS modding community going back to their hermit crab shells and pretending it's not worth the effort like they did before, though I kind of doubt about it since again, they've already found out ported head support exists, so the patreonbux are simply too sweet to pass on.
