Just install from the resolver. You need SBX regardless.
GCHAOS pubes is known to have alignment issues because people keep overwriting it's specific fix or downloading an incomplete one without the fix.
So, only get things as you need them. The important thing is to get your game running first.

But once you get into Uncensor2 territory and using accessories for more vagina, pubes will never line up, and fixing them to work with the body you're using means manually doing it yourself.

We all know the drama surrounding Fakku and patreon as of late. Someone over at f95zone was livid that people like Donte is able to make big bucks selling screenshots by using Metagraphy's lighting presets. So, they contacted Fakku about it and now shit is hitting the fans, or was.
TowerCrow doesn't want to mention any names, but we all know he's after Donte because he spams his "game" everywhere.
A lot of the nodevs over at f95 appear to be Fakku shills since they can't hold an argument.

Watch this, Donte is going to be a star in the next one too.

Over on reddit, a beaner by the name of Brujo has been going around issuing DMCA on pictures "made by him". However, it seems to be all a set up to make it appear as though the user is working on something BIG. In reality, it's all just alt accounts talking to himself as a self advertisement for his own Patreon page.
He used another alt to actually advertise his patreon page, and was immediately called out. A lot of alts defended the poor mexican, but the calling user was relentless to a point that the Mexican actually admits it.

HOWEVER, now the wallhopper is targeting another patreon user, Donte!
He's even made a whole subreddit dedicated to harassing Donte.
He's also trying to takeover the HS subreddit! Since the mods are asleep, the chance of him doing so and destroying it by self advertising is somewhat high: https://old.reddit.com/r/redditrequest/comments/cvs6hl/requesting_rhoneyselect_mods_are_inactive_and/

Adjusting sliders doesn't make you artist. Learn real 3d modeling or something.
StudioNeo is good for posing, learning photography. The problem with old Unity engine is lights don't bounce off objects so you have to fake it with more light sources.
It's hard to achieve photo-realism if that's your goal.

Pro: Light-weight,fast engine. Have lot of mods.

I suggest you try the character creator demo first before you do a full dive into the game.

It'll help you determine if you actually like what the character creator offers before you actually go breaking things.

Demo is about 3gb.
The actual full game is about 20gb.
Mods and such from the pastebin collection alone will push you an extra +30gb. 50gb total.
Maps and such and other mods from various other sources, and you're looking at 200gb+.

If you're interested in actually getting the game, just follow the guides and avoid Unlimited or Unlimited Extend. While they CAN be modded, no one is going to help you with that version. Literally, no one.

In the studio, you can change FOV with keyboard presses. Forgot which ones though.
For fisheye effect, you'll need to install a graphical mod (LRE). However, it's not a true fisheye lens, just a post processed effect. You can easily do it in something like photoshop and whatnot.

I wouldn't use HS for anatomical studies, or studies in general.
You have to remember that it's first and foremost a porn game. But if you need it for pose referencing, and a wank, it's okay.
Anything can be used as a reference after all. Even that shitty artist mannequin doll.

On the other hand, I recommend you try Design Doll instead if you need a quick poser for referencing.
It's camera mode lets you adjust things like perspective and distortions.

Years later, was it ever explained why some people have to wait minutes every time they boot Honey Select because it has to either check every file or cache every file or whatever? After it does that and you close and reopen it opens up immediately, don't boot the game for a few hours and it's back to full recheck.

Once you launch a game on your PC, the RAM is an active participant because the game is loaded into it. RAM is used instead of the hard drive directly because it's faster and intended to store temporary items. If you do other things after closing a game, that load will be replaced and need to load again.

It's only 60mb too, and uses an online installer.

The free version locks saving and loading and some other technical stuff.
You can actually find a precracked and portable version from 4chan archives on google. The only downside is that you can't use it's free online shop to download presets. But it doesn't matter when you can create and save/load your own.

I used 2200G and it's integrated GPU when my graphic card died. At 1080p in NEO, it struggled to do basic animation, I can only reach 60fps with just two characters and no map and fancy effects.

That's normal too. It drastically increase the shininess intensity of all characters because it's using a different way of handling skin shine.
Downloaded characters that appear extremely shiny aren't using LRE or they're using a fucked up version of it.

You're not missing out much from LRE.
Originally, you needed it to make use of IBL, but Joan has made it possible to use it with 4K anyways, but you need to read carefully on how to set it up.

Also, use this scene to gauge if your settings is correct. It works with 4K and LRE.
If it looks okay, you're good to go.
If it looks messed up, you fucked up or didn't set anything correctly.

Where did you get the game?
What mods do you have installed?
Does the character maker work?
Did you repatch with IPA?
Did you actually install the 0630 update?

Anything helps. You're not the only one with the issue, and there's no real documented fix other than installing the game correctly and stop using repacks.

If you're here, you should be using the OP guides anyways. Guides anywhere else are no good.

I got it from the pastebins and such here, following the installing and patching process through resolver and such.
Character maker works fine, mods work fine.
Going to the Studio Card tab also crashes the resolver with some error, I assume that the two issues are related.

Other than things which were part of the pastebin steps, I don't have any additional mods installed aside from object packs downloaded from the resolver's card checker, and my studio was already missing the tools before that since I'd poked at it before and thought I was doing something wrong.

If your studioneo has been missing the anim setting before you started installing mods, then there isn't much I can say other than to reinstall and try to find when you lost the anim menu.

Hopefully you've made a backup of the vanilla game.

The basic sphere error means that something is either conflicting with it or the game cannot find it.
The file for it is from 00.unity3d found in abdata\studioneo.

If it's missing, then you're most likely missing the party update.

You need to pick up the party DLC. It's pretty easy to find, just search Honey Select Party on nyaa, and install everything. Afterwards, reinstall 0630, IPA, SBX, and your graphical mods.

I'm assuming most people who have this issue are installing 0630 thinking THAT is the party dlc, but it's not. It's just the final patch.

Sphere is a studio item. White faces has nothing to do with it.
If you're having white face issues, it's because you either have a bad mod or resolved a critical asset a mod is conflicting with.

Download the cards and put them in the chara folder. The sliders and stuff are actually saved inside the cards. You might need mods for a lot of them but there's a tool called Henk's mod conflict resolver that can locate them all.

Been having a similar problem as well. Updated all my stuff and it still looks buggy as hell. I have the same issue with his Morrigan (DA:I) mod and the Eliza one. With the Eliza mod the eyes have sunken into the skull instead.

The cards are universal (the slider data is stored within the image). Thing is, the clothes are "mods", and fakku version isn't compatible with a lot of mods. So you'll get face and body sizes, but no clothes.

Like the biggest of these exes seemed to be another extractor which did other stuff, not something installing, but maybe installing is just extracting it into the main HS folder, etc.

You take all the folders those extractors extract, put them into your HS directory, say "yes" if it asks to overwrite, and make backups first just in case you somehow screw that up.

Note that installing party will probably require you to reinstall any body texture/graphics mods you've installed as it will probably replace them back with the original files

Thank you, I wasn't sure if all I needed to do was just merge the extracted files into the main folder. I got a fresh version of HS for that purpose, I can reinstall mods 4k etc after just to not mess anything up.

It's probably not "okay", and recently a guy named "Towercrow" or something like that reported this practice to one of Fakku's representatives. As I understand it, this guy makes games using DAZ3D models and he tried to destroy the people who use Honey Select to end competition or something (maybe I'm wrong, I didn't follow this controversy so closely).
The Fakku guy said no one can use Honey Select models to make money on Patreon. But there's a whole gray area to it and it's hard to know what the Fakku / Illusion guys are going to do.

My game is modded up the ass but i'll attempt to share it with you. You need

for the face

for the hair

And you need the latest extra slot mod. Lastly, i'm using the latest cubic shader mod which darkens everything so if you're not using said mod the skin will be burning white so you might have to customize the skin color, and the slots might be fucked up and you'll have manually redo the slots to anna williams. And the hairs are from the kokoro clothing accessories slots

LAST THING; the shoes might be missing, they're called TR Combat Boots and iv never been able to find the original source of the mod

I didn't make this character but does anyone know why her arms are permanently bent?
