Mario goes to talk sense into Bowser and tell him to just give up on her. Only to find bombshell Bowsette crying and lamenting that she can't do anything right. Reveals she's lonely and sad, and can't convince anyone to love her. Mario comes over, consoles her, and after some talk over unrequited love, the pair kiss.
A few weeks later, Bowsette and Mario are a thing and she the happiest she's ever been. Peace comes about in the kingdom and Bowsette chills a bit. Still full of drive and arrogant but happy she's sound someone to love her.
