Sankaku has the loosest standards I've seen. Yandere has the tightest standards I've seen. That's why browsing both of them is the best of both worlds for me. Danbooru is also useful for having the most active community. Gelbooru gets a dishonorable mention for having no redeeming features.

My issue with Sankaku is the god damn viewing limit if you change pages too quickly. Then you are forced to wait 5 minutes or so for the "too fast" message to go away.

Firefox 60 did this for me today when I updated. Before, it only did it if I opened the image by itself, which I bypassed using "Save Link As", which no longer works. I've always used private mode, no history, no cookies, and no scripts. It is better than invasive adshit at least.

The only "fix" I heard about is changing something in Firefox itself, but I'm sure not going to potentially mess up my entire browser settings for one website's poor coding. The "solution" was posted on their forum.

its a workaround

open about:config
find network.http.sendRefererHeader
change the value from 2 to 0

that makes it work. be sure to change it back to 2 when you're done, because changing the value breaks sites like Pixiv and Twitter

What I did was get the HistoryBlock addon and add "https://chan.sankakucomplex.com"; to the blacklist. This hides the domain and subdomains from your history, recent tabs, and download history.

Not on rule34. That booru exlusively use character/franchise/program/artist names. They don't use descriptive tags like anal/vaginal/futa/male/female/gay/furry etc. Which sort of makes searching for things a bitch unless you're in the mood for a certain character

They also do not allow OC characters, the booru is exlusively for #34
