The correct order to reading Kon-Kit manga:

That's one of those parts I was shuffling around and rephrasing but ultimately left out because I had too many questions like whether you can dislocate both sides because I had only ever heard of a "dislocated hip". Then I realized it has more to do with the joints which confused me even more because it looks like her pelvis/lower back is hurting. Maybe I'm thinking too much about this sort of thing...

And don't just decensor kaya-nee and mighty wife chapters. Decensor the whole tankubon please. It just didn't feel right when you have an entire tankubon but only 3 or 4 chapters are decensored.

So if you really want to decensor, get started with with the older tankubon first. 4 out of 8 tankubon is currently decensored, and the other half still needs to be decensored.

The goal is to decensor all tankubon and translate using tankubon scans. Good luck decensoring with the magazine scans. I don't think that's possible.

2.Translate the magazine scans. I mean, we take what we can. In scanlation, motivation is every thing. If the new guy who volunteers wants to do only stuff he likes, let him be? Besides, we don't even know the quality of his translation and his dedication, and you're suggesting him to decensor 10 chapters or none at all? Hello? We can potentially save >$100 per tank if we have free decensors for Kaya/Mighty Wife chapters. Again, we take what we can.

The previous translator worked for free, shame he's gone. Great translation too, even better than the translations of commissioned groups.

The decensored Kaya-nee Hotspring chapter is nice too. Would be great if the whole tank can be decensored.

Redrawer finished the job already. Translator finished the job already. Can't we at least get an update on how many percent is done for compiling the entire tank? I mean only typesetting is left right? Have the editor try asking for help for typesetting? That shit is the easiest task. Why is the easiest task taking the longest time?

It's jsut a time thing, I'm still motivated. First I need another translator before I can continue editing other chapters. Managing donations is not very timeconsuming.

I'm not creating multiple donation pages simple because the one who is doing the decensoring is not dedicated to me and has other suff to do as well. If I put up all 9 chapters to decensor there might be a chance everything gets funded in a short period of time and he can't decensor everything in a short period of time. That's what I learned from the donation pages I set up for redrawing the rest of the chapters. I started them back in February I think, now it's almost May and the last chapter is still not released yet. I don't want people to donate and after 3 months they get the result. I only wanna put up pages if the time is there to finish them in a timely manner.

That statement alone says he's busy, but he's still dedicated. You may not realize but making assumptions and doubting someone's motivation can backfire really hard.

And that says for every thing in the world. Just because something is good doesn't always translates to attention, likewise something that is popular doesn't mean it's good.
Honestly we/editor have done a lot to reach out for helpers/donations. It's all there really, if anyone is interested in helping they can find it easily. But if we don't get them, it just tells us the audience isn't really there and we just have to deal with it.

He takes his sweet time with the volumes, there are months whit no new chapters... And lets face it, some of his chapters are very inconsistent in quality.

His art is still top tier, but the hentai manga world is ultra competitive and there are plenty of new artists that are as talented as him.

Kon-kit is still my favourite, for the mix of comedy, art and lovely characters, but nostalgia is playing a huge factor on it too. I guess younger people wouldnt see anything special on his works anymore so he needs to step up his game.

First page. I get what the translator is trying to say by "menace", like the situation is a menacing, or threatening one. But slapping five "menace" kinda makes thing seems funny instead of serious.

I think it's better if you just change it to "threatening" and "frightening". One on the left and one on the right. Just two words are enough. No need for the "menace".

Six tanks, (7 if you count Yurushite Anata). And a few more magazine chapters with subpar translation. That's like 70 or 80+ chapters that had been translated into english. I don't think there's another hentai author with so much translated content.

But it isn't fair to compare like that dude. Mainstream manga scanlation got a much bigger paycheck, that's why people are motivated.

Well, it really depends. A person who can't read japanese(and rely solely on google translate) and not skillful enough with photoshops or other editing softwares could spend weeks and still come up with a lousy end product.

Someone who actually can read and understand japanese, and someone with the necessary skills and editing tools (drawing tablets, drawing pads for computers, etc) would of course be able to release at a faster rate and still deliver a good quality chapter.

When it comes to commissions, the best one I consider is from The Lost Light (http://thelostlight.funeralofsmiles.com/).
Axalon is a experienced translator and he soughts out the few best editors in the scene (like mrwayne, Palaxius) to work with. Most of the stuff are commissioned by cellTF. I would be extremely surprised if you don't know who is cellTF but in the unlikely scenario you don't, check him out panda. (I'm just sharing what I know, don't take them as concrete suggestions because 1. I don't know if Axalon reads/cares about Kon-Kit 2. I don't know if these good editors cares enough about Kon-Kit to work on tedious redraws of a *long* series 3. If you wanna look for another typesetter, I'm totally fine with it. Everything you need, besides the redrawn chapter 6 of Mighty Wife, is out there. Also everything that has been donated is complete, so there is nothing pending on that side anymore. There are of course still the chapters to decensor up, but that can't be delayed due to me not being able to edit, it's another one who is doing that so that option will remain up on the site.

I can't give you any timeframe on when I can work on them again.

The reason why I didn't volunteer to do sfx is because I'm not good at it, since H scanlation groups almost never did them so I don't have experience with it either.
I could /probably/ study your past TS and copy your style for placement and size, but then there's also warp text that is more personal style and it's probably better that you do it for consistency sake. (Not that 99% of people will notice anyway, the other 1% being editors themselves).
But taking the time to learn something I won't use isn't really productive for me.
As I said, for now I'll help out for purely typesetting if you need it, but I know TS doesn't take a lot of time, just putting it out here if you ever need.
I *might* consider doing sfx in the future, but it's unlikely.

There's some people who loves taking credit by being the one to compile everything and upload the whole tank on panda.

Technically all english tank scan of Yurushite Anata except Mighty Wife 6 is on panda already, including the one that haven't been updated with sfx. So you can either upload Mighty Wife 6 last, or upload the whole english tank on panda and slowly update the other chapters that are still missing sfx.

3 pages left, unfortunately work got a hold of me again, that's why it is so extremely delayed. (but we already are familiar with that...)

After those 3 pages I will give them to you for proofreading as usual.

I will upload the chapter + the tank, if everything is corrected and good to go. The last 3 chapters that needs sfx translation (namely Three Heroes 5+6 and Mighty Wife 8th) will be included in the tank without the sfx for now, but will be updated when I have the time doing them.

And after that I will make a little hiatus until everything calms down on my side. I can't say for how long but I will always be present so you can contact me in here or on the forums/website, and maybe I will find the time to do a chapter inbetween.

The site remains being up for the usual updates and decensors, if anybody is interested in them. One donation page for a decensor is currently up:

Shouldn't it be explicitly "Redraw"? Editing in scanlation is cleaning/redrawing/typesetting etc. If you're not charging for typesetting then you should probably use the right term there, for transparency sake.

They seem fanmade. The first one is a redrawn of the small promo pic of the Kaya AV that appears on the last panel of her last chapter. The other image seems redrawn and shopped.

They are look pretty good, but they dont seem made by Kon-kit
