The vast majority of Comiket Circles belong to the complete hobbyists doing whatever they are doing for fun. The only reason you know the artists you, well, know, both good and mediocre is because they already represent less than 5% of those who attend and, as such, sell CONSIDERABLY more than an "average" circle. And meme50 is by no fucking means a mediocre or lesser know artist. He could literally shit on a paper, sell 1000 copies of that and still consider it a failure. Granted, he probably wouldn't be able to sell 6 old ass doujins for 9 000 yen because Japanese public is not a bunch of mouth-breathing retards who hold their mouths open in front of the jewass just for the opportunity to meme about buying porn but that's another story.
Not even mentioning the fact that the best ones, i.e. guys like Mil sell enough to practically live off of that or the fact that none of those circles get to be shilled for 2 fucking months all over the internet by a corporation prior to the event.
The point here is not that 300 is awful (it's defintiely not for Meme for the reasons I've mentioned above), it's the fact that Fakku shills are ready to jump on fakku's dick and praise it no matter how unimpressive the praising point actually is.
