Now there are two kinds of them:
-The ones that created the card and don't want to make it public because that card is important to him in some level (eg. fijas girl, he doesn't share her because he uses her to promote the mods). This is dumb but it is reasonable.
-The ones that leech cards from 'public' places showcase them, samefag asking for them and strive for drama, basically privatefag trolls looking for drama. These are the losers that lurk around leeching for a bit of drama in their useless lifes, and they always justify themselves with the same arguments 'no, this is just not spoonfeeding'.

Question, how do you guys create characters? By that i mean how do you gauge their height, cheekbones, hair color and proportions in general to make your characters look like the source material from which your working with? Especially 2D characters.

I think there may be different FOV values at play, for starters. Get the skin tone, eyebrows and hair in check too. Lower face/jaw width seems like the most noticeable difference in her facial structure.

The bridge of your model is all over the place compared to the refecence. The keys for fiddling with FOV in-game should be the same as the ones in Studio.

It does makes sense to play it only once, but at the same time there is no trigger for it, so when you load a scene the animation will play regardless if the character is even on camera and you will never see it happening.
So I think that it is indeed better to have them loop instead of not even seeing them play.

I made this for a guy who requested a shoulder sweater.
What you see is not quite finished there some things I needed to tone before uploading it.

And I'm very tidy with my files, so I lost the original long sleeve sweater somewhere, or maybe even replaced it with the shoulder one without knowing.

In any case, this game is shit, I had hopes for personalities adding and see original content, the same you see in 3D meidos or AA2 modding, but all I see is constant /d/ stuff with no originality.

I don't blame them though, the game's graphics really don't help people make good looking characters like they used to in Play Club for instance. ..

Nevermind, I forgot HSStudio IS the IK plugin. Try going to the IK settings in studio and turning IK on and off for each character. If that doesn't work then there's probably an xml file needed with the scene or it won't load properly.

I got the Celestine folder full from MEGA without skipping a file so I imagine the XMLs are all there, but on the non official packs there's even some with TXT files listed. Is getting info from TXT even another mod?

Well I'm pretty sure that's just an issue with studio. What's wrong in that scene is the direction of the breasts because the breast direction is set to manual. When any body part is left on manual from the character state tab and saved to a scene, the position where it was aimed(the little blue circle) will reset when the scene is reloaded. If you don't see the blue circle go to the bottom of character state and check the box that says show target boxes. From there you'll just have to tweak it every time you reload the scene. The only body parts that have this problem are the head, eyes, and breasts, since they're the only ones given manual settings through the studio itself. I don't know of any way to fix it other than going into advanced mode with HSPE and modifying each bone specifically.

If you go into Advanced IK and flick "dynamic breasts" off and on (you want them on) that should fix it, I think.

I appreciate the feedback, though I think to a certain degree I'm achieving the style I'm setting out for. It's not supposed to look 100% natural, and to even try that with the characters I'm doing seems a bit redundant. I think the biggest part that most people dislike is eye sizes, which I slightly exaggerate to make them look a a little more anime style.

Perhaps most people here just don't like that style I guess. I'll keep tweaking anyhow, maybe it will work out to a different balance some day.

OK, running the WideSlider executables fixed them. Thanks a lot, that's a lot of time saved.

Space still doesn't work even with just one of the Shortcut plugins there but I can hide the thing on different ways so that'll more than do.

I hoped this'd at least add more maps (I think it's maps) though. A lot of the scenes don't load for me on the Studio because I don't have them if I'm following this right.

Is there a pack to follow? A lot of these scenes were from Japan and all, so it's probably not HF specific

Also just for pure reference and perspective, making any character whose source material isn't even similar at all times, and translating that into HS can be a bit difficult, especially when it comes to the ones that don't even have any 3D models at all.

n the end I think I'm just trying to hit a nice balance between what their different art styles show them as, and what looks acceptable without losing the character all together. If anyone else can do better, I'll be more than happy to see that.

This, you have to use your imagination to fill the void that the 2D created, the less detailed the artstyle is the more you have to reimaginate and make yours the character (feel the overall vibe of the character may help you) or else it'll end like flat faced character like you did.

No offense but the style you'r working with seems "outdated" ps2/xbox gen(I know it's the point for some character, but for some it's not) .Didn't say it's ugly, you'v done a goof job with the face of the FF character, but I get what he meant by 'step it up', tweak your characters like they were made with actual engine and not make a translation of the old engine, which in my opinion isn't appealing anymore.
