>>25693475Congratulations on coming out! I'm sorry your family and friends weren't more supportive, but I hope you'll grow into yourself and find new people who are good to you and love you for who you are.
I think taking care of it while it's growing out will help a lot, too! Talk to your stylist next time you go and see what you can do. Long hair is very feminine, but there are very hot girls with hair as short (or shorter) than yours.
Makeup is crazy, crazy expensive, especially if you like playing around with colors. Replacing my box would be like replacing a new computer (not a super-fancy one, but a "new" one). That's a collection you build over years, though. If I lost all of it I would be fine with about a hundred bucks.
It's not *that* hard, though. It just takes practice. Most girls start when they're little, so by the time they're adults it feels "natural". Boys who wear makeup come into it later, but if they practice they can be at least as good.
What you really need is a foundation, a basic powder, a shading palette, something for your lips, and two or three brushes (a big one, a small one, and a liner).
