>>4404659It's not only manga, it's Japan's closure mentality in general. It's ridiculous there are only two stores shipping abroad and you can't find their products outside of Japan, like music for example, and yet they complain when their number one artists make a world tour and sell only 7000 tickets.
I asked Amazon with more than 10 emails why they're blocking random items, why would money from abroad not being accepted for the same things japanese people buy and they won't answer sucj a simple question.
>>4404676You first say price are going up too much and then say to use forwarders / proxies. That won't help. Amazon remains the cheaper option, with the money you save on double shipment, fees and japanese VAT you can buy more yuri.
And forwarder / proxies are not a full security anyway. My Yukiko's artbook arrived with a little rip on the obi. ZenMarket's fault? Melonbooks' fault? Either case Amazon was not involved but the book didn't arrive in a perfect condition. It feels like people has become way more sloppy at their job.
Btw, Amazon made me pay 127,60 € for shipment + custom, for 30 items.
ZenMarket made me pay 137,40 € for shipment + custom (+ 2306 yen for domestic shipment and 3500 yen of fees) for 7 items.
You can see by yourself why forwarders / proxies are not a solution.
>>4404686cdJapan's packaging is pefect but it also costs more, doesn't take the custom taxes for you when the order is over 100 €, has very low stock and some things will be out of stock when you wait to buy in bulk, takes more days to ship the order and their site is bad to find stuff if you don't know the MTL title they're using, you have to search by ISBN.
>>4404865>TensoJapanThe prices seem cheaper than ZenMarket, I may try using it next time.
