Also regarding waiting for pio for breast growth..
>>39571087Anecdotally I started pio somewhat early in my transition (1-1.5y in, also when it was just starting to become a thing more known in the community. I knew the risks but honestly I didn't care for bigger boobs at the time and just wanted hips)
But when I started I saw a *lot* of growth.
I have much more growth than most other trans girls I know at my stage in transition, while having a relatively low-ish bmi. (at least at the time lolll)
(Also not trying to bragpost here this is relevant TT")
And I'm usually asked what my routine is by ppl who see my results.
I really want to figure out what exactly I did, because I worry when I say pio.
Cause I know that pio might(?) reduce mammary gland proliferation, and I don't want to hurt anyone's transition. (I still tell them my routine ofc)
But recently I was reading more about pio and how it increased sensitivity to IGF-1. And i know IGF-1/GH in general is related to breast growth as well.. and how usually during initial puberty it's much higher, but as ppl grow older it plateaus.
So when trans women get on E later they have less IGF-1... that might be another reason why trans women have smaller more lean breasts
I need to do more research on this but I was wondering your thoughts? Am I going down a honscience route you think lol.
