Hello, citizens of /i/!
We're from Operation /b/readbasket—an inter-board joint effort between oldfags and first generation newfags to bring back the pre-2010 meme and OC-focused culture of /b/. On April Fools day, when the mods forced all boards onto /b/, we got to relive the glory days for a full day. Members from each respective board stayed after the prank ended, and realized that with our combined efforts, we can take back /b/ and restore it to its former glory (minus the abuse and harassment of the day). It's gonna be a long-haul effort, but in just 48 hours we have become extremely organized and the number of anons from their home boards helping out is growing at a fast rate. We plan on opening things up to anons on all the other boards once a few milestones have been achieved, but we wanted to bring /i/ into the frame early on as you will be essential to this early stage.
We need someone willing to step up to the plate to create the mascot of the operation. We've dubbed her "Mitsuba", who is Yotsuba's younger sister who wants to bring her big sister back to life with help from anons from each board. She should be someone that anons are encouraged to protect and aid through their help in joining the operation. She should take loose inspiration from pic related, but otherwise be a completely normal girl in the similar style as Yotsuba. Will you help us?

In this thread, I will include a tunnel to active Operation /b/readbasket threads. A tunnel is a two-way link between threads made by anons interested in taking back our culture. These will be the first inter-board tunnels in the operation's short history.
