This is supposed to be a party of heroes meant to slay the demon lord, which is an existential threat to the kingdom. They have a duty to protect their civilization by ending that threat.
They use the justification of protecting the girl’s unborn child, but that simply isn’t an excuse. They had an opportunity to kill the demon lord and secure the safety of their children’s future, to ensure they wouldn’t have to grow up with the specter of demon war hanging over them. And they threw it away for the short-term goal of keeping the pregnant girl away from danger. It’s short-sighted and cowardly. You could make the case that the pregnant girl could stay behind, but the Bull has no such excuse, and his refusal to fight for his own children’s safety is utterly contemptible.
What were they even supposed to tell the kingdom when they got back? “Oh, yeah we just abandoned our quest to go fuck some more, good luck retards! But you’re cool with us still living in your city, right?”Did they lie and say they killed the DL, losing the MC in the process?
I don’t even give a shit about the cuckening at this point, MC got the superior demon wife anyway. But the mind-boggling negligence and foolishness of those two makes me so fucking angry it’s unreal, and they deserved everything that happened to them for it. It’s just too bad all the rest of the kingdom had to suffer for their idiocy.
