>>1651750>non-hereto aesthetics more attractiveyou've been brainwashed and fell for the uglier-is-more-manly-therefore-more-handsome meme.
i used to wonder why there are people online who say an uglier guy is more handsome then i later realized that they're choosing the more rugged-looking guy as the more handsome because they're equating what they consider as the manlier ("manlier" based on their personal criteria of what's manlier which basically is more rugged looking) guy.
this started with straight guys online who have this concept of what's manlier that does not necessarily mean more handsome. for example, the tougher the look on the face is the manlier. or the thicker the beard the manlier. so even if it's not more handsome just more tough looking then it's manlier. and most straight guys do not rate guys based on how attracted they are to them (obviously, since they're straight and not attracted to guys) but based on a subconscious criteria like height so they think "he's taller so girls and gays would find him more handsome" or cragginess so they think "his face is more rugged so girls and gays would find him more handsome" or "his face is hairier so girls and gays would find him more handsome".
